Plush Stufie
Project Overview
Plush Stufie is a surreal animated series that follows Charlie, a quiet kid who grows into an even quieter adult with an overactive imagination, to the point of sometimes never knowing what's real and what isn't. Charlie has an obsession with stuffed toys, believing that they are alive and in need of constant companionship. After buying a strange plush dog from a mysterious street vendor as a child, he begins having even more wild daydreams than ever before. After a fight with a college friend, Charlie storms off only to follow his stuffed dog’s cries into a stitched and buttoned-up world where he’s worshiped as a king. Or maybe he just imagined he did.
Anyhoo, Charlie is able to come and go as he pleases to the charming stuffed world, but every time he visits, he must help solve a problem that occurs amongst the plush stuffies. whether that is making peace among the plush and/or different toys or even attending to his kingly duties. Can anyone else see this place? Can he bring others with him? IS HE EVEN STUDYING FOR HIS COLLEGE DEGREE?!?!?! Clearly not, it seems.
VA AUDITIONS
Audition Requirements:
You MUST be 15+ to audition. Any age below will NOT be considered.
Microphone Quality
Clear, professional audio is required.
Auditions with static, background noise, muffled sound, or poor quality will not be considered.
Test your setup and listen back before submitting to ensure your performance comes through clearly.
Experience
Previous experience in voice acting is NOT required, but it will greatly boost your chances of being cast.
Even if you’re new, don’t hesitate to audition; we’re looking for raw talent, passion, and dedication above all.

Charlie is very quite person, he’s 22 and has an overall very monotone personality he has trouble fitting in and talking around people his age. due to his childhood he spends a lot of time In his head wishing he didn’t have to be a real person in the real world. Or simply, go back to being the child he once was. (Charlie has a very flat monotone voice but can change it quickly to a more upbeat one if needed)

(Worried) “I mean come to think of it. maybe I should be a bit worried”
(A bit frantic)“No! No, not at all! I just need some fresh air is all it’s just really hot, it’s nothing really!!”
A silly little 10 year old who loves playing pretend. he keeps to himself most of the time but can be kind if you get to know him!

(Calm then very uncalm)“Wait…WAIT HOW DO WE LOSE 5 POINTS!??”
(Fraintic)“MOM! I NEED them. They’re not toys, they’re my army—my GUARDIANS my.. family! Dad gets it! You don’t just… THROW AWAY family because their squishy!!
(Happy excited)“Mom! I got a plush Stufie from a stranger down the street!!”
Trinket is a bouncy fun person to be around he loves meeting new people and loves seeing others happy! He cares a lot for the people he knows best, he’s not great at focusing on himself however. (Has a very silly bouncy but deep voice almost always chuckling at something) (British accent possibly or no accent)

(Worried panic) “No Charlie, it’s okay! I didn’t even see him! It’s okay he’s fine”
(Bubbly caring)“I know you like ramen! It’s like one of the only things I see you eat. IF you do even decide to EAT something”
The big wolf is a charming, outgoing and friendly guy. He’s 33 and living his best life he owns a small business and loves telling people about his new title! The big bad wolf? Whose that!? ( his voice is deep but comforting. Like a narrators voice)

(Excited) “Hey Charlie!”
(Panicked then proud) “NOPE! Retired the “bad” bit. I’m just.. the um. “Big wolf” now! Cleaner branding y’know? Friendlier for the kids.” (poses dramatically)
(Proud) “Some call me the “BIG GOOD WOLF!” … okay, nobody calls me that, but I’m WORKSHOPPING IT!!”
the dog. His walking talking, dog, plush? (Very high pitched silly voice)

(Anoyed sad) “aww man we’re already late!!!”
(Faking Confused) “what? I always responded!! Maybe you just weren’t listening hard enough”
(Clearly faking) “HELP! OHH, HELP AH. THE PAIN!!”
Oh but a joyous soul he is! Only wanting to spread whimsical nonsense across the worlds! (Very silly medium pitch voice with high energy in everything he says.) (always has a sort of laughter in his voice)

(Frantic excitement) “ARE YOU A LONLEY LITTLE GUY, ARE YOU JUST A TINY OL LITTLE GOOD FOR SOMETHING MAYBE POSSIBLY SOUR ORANGE SPRINKLE OF A CAT-THING??”
(Calm) “choose wisely~”
(Proud) “don’t worry though, we stalled! Everyone just screamed in silence till you showed up.”
A kind and caring mother. Or at least she assumes she is, food clothes and a roof that’s all a child really needs right? (Very soft but sharp female voice) (possibly British accent)

(Uncaring demanding)“That’s nice but it’s late now. Go to bed. You have school in the morning”
(Anoyed and angry) “Okay!!” “Well don’t come crying to me when you get sick. DAD can take you to the hospital”
(Firm) “when your older there’s no way your going to keep all of them”
Yeah. He doesn’t care. He doesn’t get paid enough to do so, just grab what you need and go. (lazy voice very tired but calm and collected)

(Uncaring slightly Judgy) “you gonna pay for that, or just, like, vibe with it forever?”
(Concern) “That’s….. not enough dude”
(Calm questioning)” …. This things kinda beat up.”
