Project Overview
Hello, everyone! This casting call aims to seek out potential voice actors to voice out a small trailer I'm currently making for a fan fiction in Wattpad. Plastic Heartstrings is a tale of a listless android whose aim was to only accomplish his mission when a deviant gets in the way of it.
For those D:BH fans who are still somewhat active, this your chance to voice out your favorite characters and some original characters too! This trailer is divided into two parts, and possibly, for those who get the lead roles, there will be a side project as well if you're willing.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
This project is simply for fun, so there will be no given payment to those who get the roles. You may look at this as a way to practice yourself before moving on to more promising projects that actually pay. You'll be added to a discord server where I can personally hand you the script and direct you to how I see fit, but there you'll meet the rest of the cast and we can all make friends with each other.
I'm very flexible with schedules so deadlines can be scooted over, because let's face it, school and work are overwhelming enough as it is, and I totally understand! I'll always understand my peers and I'll even lend a hand if you're having trouble with it, though that is if it's something of my capabilities.
WHAT I ASK OF YOU:
- First and foremost, please do enjoy your time with me and the rest of the cast! Have fun in interacting with everyone and you could all help each other out with lines.
- Do remember that this is a Connor x Kara fanfiction, and even if you don't ship it, that's okay, but please be nice.
- We require you to have Discord so that I may contact you for scripting and scheduling. I do need you to be active there as well.
- We do need you to have a decent-enough mic. The use of earphone/headphone mic is completely alright, as long as the audio quality is good.
- The minimization of background noises is a must! So it's preferred if air conditioning, TV noises, etc. are reduced or not present at all. Though, I don't mind editing them out.
- Kindness! Please respect your peers once you get the role, and try to get along with everyone! It'd mean a lot.

Connor has a very pleasing tone. He's frank and blunt, but speaks politely as all androids should. He has a slightly hoarse voice, but it matches with his light pitch so use that to your advantage if you're good with it.

*calm* You can't kill me, Kara... I am not alive.
Kara is a gentle and motherly character, so her tone should execute that. She speaks very softly, even when she's clearly upset, so please take note of that!
He's a good man... Even when he thinks he's a monster.
*a bit awestruck* It's... the first time I've seen her smile...
*In tears and slightly frustrated* I don't know... I don't know, Connor. That's what makes me different from you.
Markus' voice is very difficult to explain. I guess, siri's male voice but with a higher pitch and more feel to it. He speaks in a charismatic way, and he often gives off a lot of power, even if he speaks calmly.
You created machines in your own image to serve you..
*In slight disbelief* You are one of us... You can't betray your own people...
You're nothing to them, Connor... You're just a tool they use to do their dirty work.
Noel is an original character of mine. He's a very nonchalant android, and usually speaks very calmly, but feel free to give him any type of voice you see fit with the picture.
*Indifferent* Don't bother... Androids like him are not worth your strength. *slightly darker* This one's mine.
I was created in service of Mai. If it means protecting her, I have to go against everything. Even the law.
Alice is Kara's daughter figure, and she's usually very shy and quiet. She has a light tone and speaks in a higher pitch.
