Steven Universe: Atlas Logs
Project Overview
This project is based off the Cartoon Network series Steven Universe. It is set in a time prior to the events of the series, thousands of years before Earth's colony was established.
This project is based around a fanmade prequel story I've written about my personal Gemsona, Onyx. These logs tell a bit of the story of how the crew aboard the Atlas Crusader came to be, and eventually came to pass...
The logs are starting off few and far between, as they are currently written for lore drops in a DnD campaign my friends and I started.
Close or exact impersonations are not necessary, but appreciated nonetheless. I will be holding most of these roles to interpretation, so don't be afraid to have fun with it!
I ask only that you have decent microphone quality (i.e. litte to no background noise or static/fuzz, words can be understood clearly, very little audio peaking)
When you are logged in, you can comment, add submissions, create projects, upvote, search open roles, and way more. Login here.
This particular Peridot is from Era 1. Her role amongst her crew is pilot and navigator when being sent to conquer new planets and star systems. She would often spend her time discussing strategy with Onyx and Chlorite as well as performing diagnostics and maintenance on the Atlas Crusader.
Her personality is similar to the Peridot showcased in the Steven Universe series.
Her voice sounds similar to Shelby Rabara's take on Peridot's voice, but I am also open to interpretations based on Peridot's voice type.

(serious) Log Date: 3. 1. 2. This is Peridot, performing Earth hub maintenance check.
(annoyed and angry) Stop! How dare you? I'm doing this one way or another. You're just... making it... really... difficult!
(cautious and curious, talking to her log) It would appear that something has managed to initiate superficial damage to the exterior hull of the Atlas Crusader. But I find it oddly concerning that whatever caused this did so quite recently and⦠so efficiently.
Quartzes were typically created for the purpose of being soldiers for the Diamonds' armies. Amethysts were among some of the more common quartz soldiers created.
The two Amethysts that were part of Onyx's crew are much more outgoing than their counterparts from the Diamond's armies. Whenever they weren't rough-housing during their training or poking fun at their crew on missions, they could often be found socializing with other gems within the outer reaches of the main city.
I'm looking for two different takes on Michaela Deitz's gruffer voice for Amethyst. Be sure to have both takes of every line in the same file. Either one person will be picked for both roles, or two different people.

(informing) There's two more from our unit that haven't emerged yet, so we're gonna wait for them. Here comes one of them.
(on the defensive) Stay close! They can't pick us apart that easily!
(insulted) Heyy, we can be intelligent! It's not our fault you speak so techy...nolo-gic all the time!
Rubies were created for being escorts or bodyguards for higher ranking gems. Their ranking as lower-caste soldiers made their appearances much more common than others.
This particular Ruby learned to hone her skills as team-based gem and become the troupe's personal scout and attendant to the Amethysts, though would often be seen fighting alongside Tiger's Eye, resembling a sort of yin-yang duo.
Charlyne Yi has presented a few different takes on Ruby's voice in the series. I'm looking for something a little gruffer like Eyeball Ruby.

(war cry) That was just us softening you up! Now, the real torture begins!
(stressed out) There goes my whole platoon! *growl* This is a mess! What'll I say in my report?
(solemn) Look at this place - frozen in time.
Tiger's Eye is a special type of Quartz soldier. Her larger than average build allows her to excel in hard-hitting assaults and tanking enemy attacks. She can easily tear through enemy defenses using her clawed gauntlets.
While aboard the Atlas Crusader, she tends to get somewhat rowdy and boisterous when hanging out with the Amethysts. While taller than the rest of her crew, she knows how to handle her own strength, especially when fighting alongside them.
I'm looking for her voice to resemble Allison Kieth's take on Leone from Akame ga Kill.

(proud and making a point) Come on, Peridot. How many other gem armies do you know were able to conquer the planet we just got through with?
(gearing up for an attack) Well then... I say we give 'em a taste of their own medicine!
(cheerful and laughing) You know, you love getting in over your head, but you've got the spirit!
Chlorite is the experimental healer of the troupe. With her quick wit and uncanny understanding of most minerals and supplies presented to her, she utilizes all her findings to craft machines and elixirs that allow a gem to heal much faster that regeneration allows for.
She'll often spend time in her quarters tinkering or discussing research and strategy with Onyx and Peridot. She is usually reserved and rarely likes to intermingle with the group, especially when she's tinkering with another machine. But when she opens up she's not afraid to tell her thoughts and feelings straight out. Her willingness to heal her friends is paired well with her ability to wield her bo-staff in combat.
I'm looking for her voice to sound like Elizabeth Maxwell's, specifically closer to her takes for Urbosa (Breath of the Wild).

(straightforward) Sit still already. Healing this won't work if you keep squirming.
(smirking) Well now. Didn't expect our leader to be so brazen all of a sudden.
(fearful) I don't know what that thing is... but I don't like it.
Aventurine is a little more outgoing than the other gems in her crew. She tends to keep a certain amount of optimism with everything she does.
Her role as support within the crew has allowed her to pick up on lots of new skills and little nuances to better aid her friends.
For her voice, I'm looking for the closest emulation of America Ferrera's voice for Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon.

(nervous) U-um... *clear throat* Aventurine... Facet 6, Cut u-uhh.... r-reporting, my captain!
(persuasive) Peridot, since all of your logs are dated, it'll be a nice addition to have a static picture included as a personal memento of sorts.
(curiosity followed by intense fear) That's strange. I know the ship's scanners picked up... *gasp* LOOK OUT!!
Onyx is the leader of her own personal troupe. They would be sent across the cosmos by the Diamonds to conquer other worlds and make them fit for colonization.
Onyx is a very calculated and headstrong gem whose mastery of a blade is only rivaled by her sense of pride. She can be very blunt when she doesn't mean to be, but over time she has learned to speak her heart more clearly.
Onyx's voice should sound similar to Ashly Burch's take on the Rutile Twins, specifically the left twin with the deeper register.

(had just found something interesting) Excuse me⦠Peridot, right? I think you'll want to take a look at this
(frightened but authoritative)Peridot, what was that?! Something hit the hull!
(chuckles followed by a sigh) But, honestly, everyone's teamwork was very much on point this last mission. I'm genuinely proud of everyone.
