Percy Jackson- Some motivation from the Percy Jackson crew!

Project Overview

Hello everyone! I'm MissteriouslyRecorded! And I need some voices (which, is why I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and coming on here)! This is a project I've been wanting to do for awhile actually! So, I decided to buckle down and just do it. But, instead of doing all the voices (like I usually would do...) Okay so, requirements (I have all the standard ones),

Decent/Good Mic and no background noise.

A way to contact you; email (gmail preferably) or discord. 

Being able to act! I can't have anyone sounding monotone, haha. 

This is still for fun! So have fun with it!! :D

I will need the lines sent to me by June 28 by the latest (but I would prefer to have them before that, in case I need anyone to re-record any lines), I will also say this now, if you do not get me your lines in time, the role will be given to someone else. I will also be casting either at the audition deadline date (or a little before)!

I want you to do whatever your headcannon voice for the characters are! And if you're a female that can pull off a male voice, or a male that can pull of a female voice; go for it! Something I want to note, is that each character needs to sound encouraging (in their own way). And feel free to audition for as many characters as you would like! Plus, if I like you and your voice enough, I may ask you to join in on other projects~

  • Today is the last day!

    So, as you can tell, today is the last day auditions are accepted. I've already cast some roles in my mind, but everything is STILL open. I know that nerves might be high for the next 24-ish hours (I'm pretty nervous too, haha. X'D ). But thank you SO MUCH everyone for auditioning!! I've loved hearing everyone's takes and what favorite quote(s) they've chosen. I will be in contact with everyone who gets casted tomorrow, to let you know all of my contact info, and to send out lines! Thanks again everyone!! :D

Rachel is very artistic, intelligent, and kind. She enjoys volunteering for charity events to help schools in the area to keep their art programs open. She is also very open minded, being able to accept that Percy is a demigod and that monsters do exist. Jason was a very serious young man with a moderate sense of humor. He was sweet, kind, gentle, soft-spoken, honorable, and humble. Jason was someone who always followed the rules, but got more laid-back as the series progressed. Piper McLean is a calm, but rebellious spirit. Always loyal and protective of her friends. She is not afraid to stand up for her family and friends. Piper has always followed her heart and her guts, which does her well in Blood of Olympus. Piper is also a leader, as she is counselor of Aphrodite cabin. Her disagreement with the rite of passage and Drew's tortures on her siblings show that, unlike most of Aphrodite kids, she doesn't care about looks as much as the personality and shows children of Aphrodite aren't cowards and gossip-aholics. She stands for her believes and fights to right the wrongs in her cabin. (yes I'm getting this off of wikipedia, don't judge me). I don't have any specific voice in mind, so, go nuts!

Leo is easygoing, mischievous, upbeat, energetic, funny, flirty and loves to tell jokes constantly, even if they aren't particularly funny. He is usually a troublemaker, as he gets in trouble constantly with Coach Hedge for tampering with his megaphone. Hazel is bright and outgoing with a love for creativity and horseback riding, but a has dislike for boating and curses. Percy states that she was a great comfort to him and Frank, at times even saying that she seemed confident. Frank is somewhat shy, cynical, and pessimistic due to personal clumsiness and his low self-esteem. However, he tempers these more negative traits with a strong sense of duty and loyalty, as well as his love for Hazel. Gleeson Hedge has a very eccentric personality. Unlike most satyrs that believe in preserving nature, Hedge believes more in the concept of survival of the fittest. He knows that big things eating smaller things is also a part of nature, which resulted in him trying to become stronger to defend himself from bigger or stronger foes. Hedge is very overconfident and believes that he can defeat anyone no matter how much bigger or powerful his enemy is. He was extremely ambitious and power-hungry, willing to use any heinous means, from extortion to manipulation, in order to achieve his goals. Thalia is an exceptionally brave, strong, and caring girl, though at times she can be profoundly stubborn, prideful, and assertive. She is also very loyal to those she trusts and respects, as she is willing to risk her life to protect them. According to Luke himself, he can sometimes be overconfident, such as when he underestimated Ares, and was nearly killed. For the sake of resurrecting Kronus, Luke became crueler than ever, and was even willing to send Percy to his certain death into Tartrus through trickery and deceit. Luke proves that he is ultimately good at heart, and chooses to sacrifice himself in order to destroy Kronos once and for all. Calypso is kindhearted, and caring, yet could be feisty and rebellious, not liking the fact that she had to fall in love simply because the gods wanted her to as a punishment. She was very shy around visitors to her island as anyone that arrives there is someone she would fall in love with, causing her to hide her true feelings. She also has a warm heart, telling Percy that even if her father is a Titan, she still loves him and has no anger toward the gods for trapping her on her island. She shows a level of curiosity to Percy, asking him about how the world has changed in the time she has been trapped and feels bad that there is a place where flowers cannot grow (New York City).
