PARESIS - Casting Call C
Project Overview
What is PARESIS?
PARESIS is a horror/mystery audio drama that blends the supernatural and the psychological to explore hunger, obsession, and the erosion of one's sense of self.
We are currently in the early stages of development. At this time, production is finishing up casting and organizing crowdfunding efforts. This will be our last round of casting for part 1.
Who are we looking for?We are looking to fill the rest of the roles for part 1, consisting of a few minor roles and several bit roles. This is a long term project, as some characters are slated to return in part 2. Please keep that in mind if you decide to audition.
What do we need from you?All we need from you at this stage is your audition, but feel free to include any other information you want us to know about you or your setup.
REQUIREMENTSMust be 18+
Must have Discord
Clear audio quality (no background noise)
1-3 takes of each line (ABCABC format preferred)
Currently, our team is focused on getting crowdfunding efforts organized. As soon as our Kickstarter campaign is complete, we'll get down to recording.
If cast, you will be added to a Discord server where we will discuss further. For these roles, recording will be done on an individual basis.
PAYMENTRecording for paid roles will take place once we are able to secure funding. If we don't reach our Kickstarter goal, we'll be looking into alternative crowdfunding methods, which may cause a delay in our recording schedule.
SOME NOTESWe will NOT be casting early on this project! You have until the deadline to submit your auditions, but we will not be considering any submissions that come in after the deadline.
NO experience is required to submit. We are a small team, and this is a passion project. We are more than happy to give amateurs and hobbyists a chance.
There will be NO AI of any kind used in this project.
If you have any questions, feel free to message us here on CCC or on our other socials!

The body has since been recovered and transferred to the city morgue. Local police elected not to provide a statement when asked by our field reporter.
As of right now, the body has yet to be identified, and is still considered a Jane Doe.
Officials are scrambling to get their heads on straight, but their efforts at damage control have left many wondering just how "under control" the situation really is.
Minor role in part 1. Potential return in future parts.

There's no question that we're dealing with a sick individual. We assure you, we are doing everything we can to bring this person to justice.
In the effort of preserving the integrity of the ongoing investigation, the details of this case are to be kept private for the time being.
We have no reason to believe that this was in any way connected to the other tragic deaths we've seen in the past year. At this time, this is considered an isolated incident.

She doesn't need counseling. What she needs is-- (pauses, sighs) I don't know what she needs.
