PaRappa animation workprint
Project Overview
This PaRappa animation project serves to construct a workprint as a basis for once it enters production. It is currently being handled by one director with one actress. I am looking for soundalike voices that would offer their contribution to bring the storyboards to life with their voices. This is an unpaid occupation, but you will still be credited if you wish to be. Let me know on how you prefer to be credited.
The basic premise of the animation is that it is a slice of life & romance oriented story that revolves around music. Not a musical per say, but it’s a story revolves around making music. It’s primary audience consists of late teens but is suitable enough to be seen by a younger audience.
PaRappa, Sunny, PJ Berri, and Ma-San roles have been taken prior to the creation of this CCC project board.

PaRappa! What do you expect to do without a cake!? A birthday party without a cake is like a dance floor without me, do you understand that!?
Lammy, you’re already strong as is, you should be more confident. Nobody beats Lammy when she’s on the guitar.
Hmm, it’d be nice if Sunny could design our costumes. PaRappa, you could help us carry the equipment, buy snacks, and give us foot massages.
Lammy is often shy and reserved, but is more open to her friends, especially with Katy Kat. Lammy has a tendency to stutter sometimes and doesn’t like being thrown into difficult situations. Lammy is often held back by her lack of assertiveness.

I-I… I didn’t mean to be a joker… I just wanted to move on…
Phew, it was a dream… am I… d-dead? Is this… hell? If… if I’m dead, then the game’s over… what a STUPID game!
Um… well… yeah, my life has changed, I guess. Um… people standing outside my house… They wanna say “hi” and stuff like that… I guess that’s different. Um… *sniff* Yeah, people are really nice to me and they say “hi” and stop me on the street and, they want to take pictures with me. It’s kinda neat. I get kinda shy about it though.
Papa PaRappa is PaRappa’s father. He’s kind hearted and cares about PaRappa’s well-being. He doesn’t always think things through, but optimistically tries to find ways to work around his problems.

She fell in love with the idea of it ever since she helped her mother clean out all of the weed from the front yard when she was only 6. She even got to plant her first flower seed when we moved here. I have a picture of when it grew.
