Hello! The Rise of Voldemort cast is in search of a talented vocalist and instrumental arranger/mixer to assist in producing a vocal theme for the series’ finale.
The music theme and lyrics have already been composed. A demo will be made available for successful applicants to listen to.
Please be aware that while the series contains coarse language and mild comedic adult themes, the vocal theme will not include any profanity.
If successful, the vocal theme will be used as credits music for the final episode, or alternatively posted after the series’ finale as a tribute. You will be credited in all YouTube and Spotify (podcast) uploads of the theme.
Vocalist requirements:
1. A good mic quality with little to no background noise, popping, or peaking.
2. Androgynous, masculine, and feminine voices are all welcome to audition. We have no preference of voice pitch!
3. Your audition should include a singing sample with, and without a backing track. (i.e. vocal/instrumental and a cappella versions)
4. Please understand that you may be asked to record and send retakes during production of the theme.
Instrumental Arranger/Mixer requirements:
1. Experience using, and regular access to a music synthesiser software such as Ableton or an equivalent.
2. Your audition should include a sample of one or more past instrumental compositions or arrangements.
3. Please understand that you will need to be contactable on a semi-frequent basis throughout production to collaborate with the composer.

For your audition, please submit a 30-second song cover of an upbeat, morning cartoon-style theme song.
Your audition should include both a vocal/instrumental and a cappella version (approx. 1 minute in total), however you may use the same recording in both versions.
Suggested songs: Phineas and Ferb, Ben 10, We Will Be Heroes (Pokémon), What’s New Scooby Doo, and Mew Mew Power.
Suggested voice type: Energetic, cool, brash, upbeat, urban, sporty, casual.

The role will require you to produce a synthesised instrumental arrangement of a music theme approx. 1 minute in duration.
The theme is fully composed, and was created on MuseScore using 11 instruments (many with simple, repeated parts). The original file, isolated parts, instrumental descriptions, and score notation will all be made available.
For your audition, please submit one or several samples of past instrumental compositions or arrangements.
