(Paid) Rainy Falls
Project Overview
Series Summary: Rainy Falls is a mystery-adventure series that takes place in a town called (you guessed it) Rain Falls! Inhabitants of RF all have special powers called “Falls” that only occur when the moonlight shines over the region. Some in the town know what their falls are,
while some may never even discover theirs. Rainy Falls is a mysterious place with even more mysterious friends, and maybe a few foes along the way!
This is a Youtube animated series, planned for at least 2 seasons, and DUN DUN DUUUUN....PAID!
Please submit all of your demo submissions to RainyFallsShow at Gmail in the form of a .mp3 file named in this format “YOURNAME_CHARACTERNAME”. Please feel free to audition for as many characters as you would like and feel free to include past experience (Minecraft related VO is a plus) and your desired rate in the e-mail. Deadlines are August 12th 2017!
There are only 5 main characters being cast at THIS MOMENT, however I will be introducing many more characters as the series goes on, and may also require minor character voices. All auditions will be kept on record for future roles whether or not you end up getting cast right away.

Melody is a fun and optimistic young girl with a rock and roll attitude. Her “fall” is
seeing supernatural phenomena such as ghosts and spirits. She can share her fall with
someone if she is touching them while using it, and also has the ability to pull the supernatural
into the real world. Her voice should be mid to mid-high and despite her style isn’t “emo” or
melancholy in the way she speaks. Melody is one of the original inhabitants of Rainy Falls so
she needs to sound like she knows what she’s talking about.
“Welcome to Rainy Falls! I’m Melody. There are a lot of strange things that have been
happening lately...I can’t really explain it, but I just feel like I’m being watched all the
time.”“Oh come on, Aric! Don’t be such a scaredy cat! Where’s your sense of adventure? I’m
so excited to finally get out and explore!”(After meeting Bunny the Ghost, a little scared)
“So you’re a...a ghost? Where did you come from? I didn’t even know that ghosts
Existed! Are you seeing this Aric!?”
Rin is a new inhabitant of Rainy Falls and is a timid and carefree blind-girl. Rin’s fall is that
she can see via a radar sense at night (kind of like DareDevil) and even see through objects to
an extent, which is greatly confusing to Melody and Aric, as Rin is the first person of the group
to actually discover her fall. Rin’s voice can be anywhere from mid to high range, and should be
sweet, thoughtful, and shy.
(Meeting Melody and Aric for the first time)
“Hello there! I’m Rin! I’m new in town! Do you think you could help me unpack some of
these boxes?”(Realizing her fall for the first time)
“I...I can see! I can see everything! I can see you! And you! And even...wait a
second...what’s that over there?”So this place must have some kind of mystical power! I haven’t been able to see ever
since I was a little baby and now Melody can see a ghost? It just doesn’t make any
sense.
Aric and Melody are childhood best friends. Aric is a calm and collected teen who is
always thinking about others before himself. He is sensible and always desires to seek out
understanding before reaching a conclusion for himself. Aric’s fall is unknown, and once he
learns that others have falls, the fact that he doesn’t know his becomes a deep and saddening
desire for him. Aric’s voice can be any range and should be caring, positive, and thoughtful.
(Hanging out with his best friend Melody)
“Hey! Did you hear? There’s a new person who just moved into the Falls.
Wanna go check it out?”(Admitting to Melody)
“Trust me, I really like hanging out with Rin, but don’t you think it’s hard sometimes? To
ignore the fact that she’s, you know...blind? I don’t want to treat her any differently than I
treat you. ”(Upset that people around him have falls and he doesn’t)
“Come on...The moon is out, so what am I missing? (frustrated and tries to use a power)
Why can’t I be like the rest of them? I feel so useless right now! Why don’t I have a fall?
Raven is an stoic and mysterious young man who moves to Rainy Falls not long after
Rin moves to town. Raven’s fall is that he transforms into a demon when the moonlight falls
over the land. When he is in his demon form he has incredible speed and strength, but his other
“otherworldly” abilities have yet to be uncovered by Raven. Raven’s voice should be mid to
mid-low and should be mysterious, cold, and forward.
(When the gang comes to greet Raven on move in day)
“Oh hey, name’s Raven. I guess if you need anything don’t hesitate to ask.”(Bored)
“There isn’t much to do around here is there? I knew there had to be some reason this
place let the house I bought go for so cheap. Oh well, I’m here now. Better make the
best of it I suppose.”(Alone for the first night in his home/ discovering his demon fall)
“I...I feel strange. Something inside of me is...burning...it’s so hot...(groans) it hurts!
What’s going on? What’s happening to me? I...feel...stronger somehow!
Bunny is a lost and adorable ghost girl who is pulled into Rainy Falls by Melody’s fall.
Bunny doesn’t have a fall for herself, but can only assume her human form at night time. During
the day time she hangs around the town or with the gang in the form of a cute white rabbit.
Because Bunny is already a ghost, she, like Melody, can see and communicate with other
ghosts. Bunny is sweet, adorable, and bubbly! She sees Melody as a hero for bringing her into
the real world where she can be seen and have friends. Bunny’s voice can be in any range.
(Meeting Melody and being seen by a human for the first time)
“Hi there~ I’m Amelia, but you can call me, erm...(looking around) Bunny!”(Trying not to startle Melody and Aric from being seen for the first time)
“Don’t be afraid! I’m not dangerous! I mean...I am a ghost...but not like one of those evil
ghosts that want to steal your soul away! I’m not making this any better...why am I still
talking?! Shut up, Almeila! I’m still doing it!”(Being brought into Melody’s home to stay as the sun is coming up)
“Are you sure I can stay here with you? I promise I won’t be a burden... Oh, the sun is
coming up! (Transforms into a rabbit) See? I don’t take up much space at all! (giggles)”
