Role: Supporting
THE CHARACTER
Alfred Pennyworth is Bruce's lifelong butler. He takes more of a supporting, father figure role in this story to Bruce, despite both of their old ages.
Alfred is nearing his late 80's in this film and is more worried about Bruce's health than ever.
Whether or not Alfred agrees with Bruce's choices -- it doesn't matter. Alfred always has his back and best interest in mind. He knows neither of them have much time left, so he does what he can to support Bruce in every facet.
When Alfred was a younger man, he was a soldier in the Royal Navy. Though his life of hardship and war are far behind him, he hasn't let his soldier days define him. He is still a very empathetic, caring, and loving person to all people.
THE VOICE
Alfred is nearing his late 80's. I need someone who can produce an older, mid ranged, estuary British Accent.
Alfred should feel like a warm hug, a safe place to any person to go to. I need someone who can convey that type of loving, old grandpa.
I want someone who can get really, really close to Enn Reitel's performance of the character from Batman: The Telltale Series: https://youtu.be/QWrjseBXoTg?t=58

Men with a mind for revenge need a little encouragement. They need guidance. You, above all, should know the consequences of the life you choose.
Death and greed stole your parents, Master Bruce. But rather than become a victim, you have done everything in your power to control the fates. For what is The Batman if not an effort to master the chaos that sweeps our world? An attempt to control death, itself.
I've sewn you up, I've set your bones, but I won't bury you. I've buried enough members of the Wayne family.

THE CHARACTER(S)
Gotham is the third main character in this story. In order to properly convey that, I need a group of extremely versatile and talented voice actors and actresses to play its inhabitants.
THE VOICE(S)
The range of characters in Gotham go from abusive fathers, to protective mothers, to cowardly taxi drivers.
You can either audition with the lines given down below OR by submitting a demo reel (if that's something you have available).

(Quippy) Hey, Carmelita! Looking beautiful as ever. (She shoots at you and misses) Carmelita! What, are you trying to kill me? (She angrily agrees) Aww, and ruin all the fun? C'mon! Quit playin'!
(Sketchy) Alright sir, let’s make this quick and simple. Money, wallet, and all jewelry -- hand it over.
(Nervous) I’m uh... No offense, but I’m not too sure how that topic’s relevant to what we’re trying to do here, uh... (audibly gulps) I’m just a lawyer tryna represent my client. So if you could just give me a second I can-!

THE CHARACTER
Victor Fries (pronounced FREEZE) is the opposing lead role. Victor comes from a very broken home. As a young boy, that trauma he experienced held control over his life for many, many years... That was until he met Nora.
Nora is Victor's pride and joy. His reason to live. The foundation that his life is built upon.
After marrying at a young age, Victor became a doctor -- a cryogenicist, and devoted his life to his craft.
Although all seemed to be going well... Life hit hard when Nora was diagnosed with a terminal illness.
Using his knowledge as a cryogenicist, and knowing that he has nowhere else to turn, Victor turned to a life of crime in order to raise funding for his wife's cure.
Victor is not a bad guy... But he'll do what he must to save his wife.
THE VOICE
Victor has a very straight-forward arc. He starts as a reserved, intelligent, but clearly broken young man. However, after he marries Nora he begins to open up and experience life as one should: coated in love and happiness with his loved one. But, when Nora is diagnosed, his whole life flips upside down.
Mister Freeze emerges when Victor feels he has nowhere left to turn. Void of all emotion and fueled by a heart of ice, Mister Freeze's apathy that was once built by a broken, unstable family finally comes into full view.
I am looking for a mid-low range, American accented take on the character. HOWEVER, I would be open to a deeper, subtle German accent.
Here are some voice references for the range I'm looking for: https://youtu.be/1AhmHdF643o (for Mister Freeze) https://youtu.be/4VfVTWGwLFo?t=73 (for Victor)

VICTOR FRIES: Hello. My name is Dr. Victor Fries. I am recording, what I hope to be, mankind’s first step toward immortality. What you see behind me.. .Is the CC-100. A cryogenic freezing chamber of my own design. It’s... sole purpose is to freeze subjects stricken with inoperable ailments... Subjects like... My wife -- Nora.
VICTOR FRIES: (a CEO and a group of his security guards are trying to pull the plug on Nora's cryogenic chamber... It's the only thing keeping her alive.) No-! STOP! Please -- this is my experiment! You can’t do this! My wife is in there! If you stop the process too early, she’ll die! You can’t do this!
MISTER FREEZE: (you have a trinket -- a snow globe. It reminds you of your wife, your ultimate goal) This is how I'll always remember you. Surrounded by winter. Forever young. Forever beautiful. Rest comfortably, my love. The monsters who denied you will soon learn that revenge... is a dish best served cold.
I want an original score for this film -- However, I understand that can be difficult.
I am looking for an orchestral, haunting, but EPIC soundtrack that can really capture the essence and torture that Bruce Wayne and all the characters are going through in this film.
I want this soundtrack to pay homage to Batman soundtracks of the past, but also looking towards the future.
I am looking for a composer to can take Danny Elfman's Batman Returns soundtrack, The Dark Knight's soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, as well as other independent pieces of music, and add their own spice to it -- make it into something more grounded and grittier. Not higher than life (yet), but down in the dumps and barely able to breathe. Suffocating.
If you are someone who has the ability to do that, then please. Send a demo.

THE CHARACTER(S)
There are three News Anchors in this film. Lola, Bill, and Dave.
Through these news anchors we are told the perspective of the third main character of the movie: Gotham.
Although I understand that voicing a News Anchor isn't the most attractive role in the world, these three characters are vital in setting the tone, atmosphere and setting to this film.
THE VOICE
I am open to anything! Anything that sounds like a professional News Anchor, I'm here for it. Free style it. Show me what you got!

I’m surprised anyone can even think of sports in this weather. Currently in the heart of Gotham, we’ve got a high of 97, with no sign of relief. Weather reports say rises in heat can be found later in the week, reaching a possible high of 102!
This recent heat wave has spiked many acts of civil violence all across Gotham city. The most heinous of which... the brutal murder of three nuns last week by the likes of two common street thugs.
This morning, police found a death threat nailed to the door of Police Commissioner James Gordon. Gordon, facing retirement on his upcoming seventieth birthday, had this to say...

THE CHARACTER
Ferris Boyle is CEO of Gothcorp "The People Company". He's an entrepreneur, "philanthropist", and wealthy, wealthy businessman.
Boyle is a shady figure. He has this cold, apathetic approach to the business side of his company that marks him as an enemy by many of his opponents and a feared man by many other CEOs.
Though it is up for debate on whether or not he actually cares about people, one thing is for certain: Boyle doesn't mess around. If you screw him over, he will ruin you.
Despite being so cold in his formal nature, he is a genuinely charismatic, charming, and handsome man. He uses his natural charisma to persuade, deceive, and slither his away not only through the business world, but through every day life.
THE VOICE
I would like a performance very close to his portrayal by Mark Hamill in Batman the Animated Series. A charismatic, charming man who can flip into an insidious, hateful monster within the fraction of a second.

Bruce Wayne! It's been forever! How you've been? Still the terror of the Gotham Night Scene?
Look, Bruce, that 'People Company' line is great PR, but when the wage slaves start acting like they own the place, it's time to pull the plug. Know what I mean?
Gothcorp’s gonna be in the mud for next 6 months because of your dumbass, you know that? I put millions of dollars of pure blood, sweat, and labor into this company! And when little scum-weasels like you go around with your stupid experiments and fuck everything up, it always makes me wonder... Why the hell am I letting freak-show losers present shit for MY COMPANY?

THE CHARACTER
Carrie Kelly is your average, 13 year old, book smart, tough, girl scout to strives for adventure.
One night, when she is out walking home with her friend, she is jumped by a pair of muggers.
Before the thugs can do any real damage, Batman shows up and saves her.
Inspired by the bravery and heroic-ness of her savior, she saves up some lunch money to buy her own Robin costume to join Batman as his new Robin.
Carrie plays a very minor role in this film. However, if a sequel were to get made, she would eventually become a main character.
THE VOICE
I need an actress who can capture the charismatic, loveable, infectious nature of Carrie. She needs to sound somewhat innocent due to her young age, but also someone who knows a lot more than she leads on. Carrie needs to have a little bit of spunk in her -- a grittiness to her that comes out when faced with a difficult challenge.
I am open to any new takes on Carrie, but if you want an idea of a great past portrayal, you can watch one here: https://youtu.be/RrV62_kdMnI?t=124

Move your ass, Rachel! My notes are NOT going to get soaked.
It's you and me against the world, Boss.
Four stories up. Maximum traffic down below. I had a few years of gymnastics training, but nothing special. All I gotta do is stick to the walls, and keep my feet underneath me. I can’t let two weeks worth of lunch money go to waste. ... Gotta have something to show for it. If Batman really is back... He’s gonna need a Robin to help him out. (beat) Let’s just hope I don’t die trying to find him.
Role: Minor
THE CHARACTER
Nora is the shining beacon in Victor's dark soul.
Despite what may go on around her, she always has a smile on her face and tries to make everyone around her feel better.
She understands how the universe works. Whatever happens, is supposed to happen.
So, when Nora gets diagnosed with a terminal illness, she understands what she needs to do.
She needs to be strong for him. For Victor.
THE VOICE
Despite being a minor part in the film, her role is vital in Victor's arc. I need an actress who can steal the show with very limited screen time.
Nora is one badass, rough and tumble girl. She's not necessarily a tom boy, but she's a girl with grit. I need someone who can portray her optimism, grit, hope, and love all in one beautiful, charismatic package.

YOUNG NORA (around 6 or 7): You’re parents aren’t mad at you, right?
(like a comforting mother) ... Come sit, baby.
Don’t go far! If I’m gonna croak out, I wanna make sure I’m looking at a sexy hunk as I go... (COUGH) (COUGH!)
Role: Minor
THE CHARACTER
Commissioner James Gordon in this tale is four weeks out from retiring on his seventieth birthday. He plays a minor role in the story as a whole, but his role in symbolizing what Gotham used to be is vital to not only Bruce, but to the viewers as well.
Gordon has seen a lot in his forty year career. His hope and passionate heart for Gotham has slowly deteriorated as his body grows older. He realizes that, despite no matter how hard he and Batman tried -- there's no hope for Gotham. It's doomed.
Despite his position on Gotham, he doesn't regret a thing. He still believes in the virtues of doing it "by the book" and holding out hope for individuals, but his old age has worn down his once young and optimistic heart.
THE VOICE
I'm looking for a mix between the deeper toned take that Jonathan Banks did in Batman Arkham Knight (https://youtu.be/wWL7zz0wQZo) and David Selby's older, more elderly, passive performance as Gordon in The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 (https://youtu.be/r77xi7Nq2_k?t=57).
I also wouldn't mind hear a hint of an old-school New Yorker in there.

I’ve got four weeks left of a forty-year long career... I’ve made a lot of enemies in my time... so any bastard who thinks they can come and take me on, I’m delighted.
Glad to see you’ve learned to drink. Remember the good old days Bruce? That playboy routine? You and your Ginger Ale pretending it was champagne... Fooling everybody. (beat) Almost everybody.
I remember when I first became a cop. It seemed easier to tell the good guys from the bad. But Gotham City has a way of confusing that issue.

THE CHARACTER
Bruce Wayne is the lead role and a complex character in this tale. We all know his backstory, but its how that trauma has shaped this version of Bruce is what makes him so interesting.
Bruce is a miserable, unstable human. He is nearing his mid-fifties and has been retired out the cowl for 10 years now. Bruce has no idea how to cope without his layer of protection on -- his veil to the world. Bruce Wayne was never a person, he was conjured up so Batman could walk around in the normal world. However, with Batman being 'gone', Bruce is now who he has to be... and he hates it.
Every time Bruce hears a siren, Batman writhes in his chest... Itching to get out.
Bruce Wayne died with his parents in the alleyway. Batman is the one who walked out of there alive.
THE VOICE
Bruce Wayne and Batman are two separate entities. TREAT THEM AS SUCH. Although they are muddled and mixed in with each other at the beginning of the story, when they are labeled as separate characters, they need to sound, feel, and act as different characters. One should not be just a "happier" or a "darker" version of the other.
Bruce is a somewhat charismatic, handsome, but now matured and aged businessman. He needs to have the smooth people talk as an average businessman should, while still being capable of much more -- HOWEVER. In this adaptation, Bruce is a trainwreck, barely holding himself together. So, though these traits need to be present, they need to be reserved -- not up to their full capacity.
Batman is a brutal, vengeful, caged beast that is roaring to be let out. Once in a while, while posing as Bruce, Batman will seep out -- however, once he is let out, it's a controlled, intelligent anger and rage. Batman is a terrifying bruiser a force to be reckoned with.
I am looking for a low, American Accented, aged, very troubled, very haunted man. I do NOT want Kevin Conroy impressionist -- MAKE THIS BATMAN YOUR OWN! PLEASE.

BRUCE WAYNE: I was only six years old when that happened... When I first found the cave. Huge, empty, silent as a church... Now the dust thickens and the cobwebs grow in here... as it does in me... And he laughs at me, curses at me. Calls me a fool -- he fills my sleep, tricks me, brings me down here when the night is long and my will is weak. He struggles, restlessly, hatefully, clawing at the cage I’ve locked him in -- begging to be freed... I will not let him free...Never... I gave him my word... For Jason. Never again.
THE BATMAN: This should be hell. I should be an aching mass of broken, spent muscle -- unable to move. But I’m a man of thirty again -- of twenty. The rain on my chest is a baptism. I'm born again
BRUCE WAYNE: Zorro... I should have checked the listings. I should turn it off -- right this second. Just a movie... That’s all it is. No harm in watching a movie.
