Project Overview

OVERPOWER (formerly known as Hakai To Saisei: 破壊と再生) is an upcoming stop-motion animated, Gacha Life 2 voice-acted series set in a dystopian sci-fi hero genre. The first episode is set to be released by the end of 2026, followed by Episode 2 within a few months of 2027.

SYNOPSIS

Aiko Takashi awakens in a new place, with no memory of her past, only to discover she's one of the few people without a Powersphere who possesses extraordinary physical abilities. But her true secret is far more dangerous—she is one of the many victims who serve as living portals to Null, one of the four Founding Entities. Branded as both a threat and humanity's greatest hope, Aiko is forced into a deadly bargain with the Legion Hall, the world's highest authority over Powersphere holders. The deal is to help them locate Null's true body, or be executed. As monstrous Anomalies spread across the world and the Founding Entities tighten their grip on humanity, Aiko must uncover the truth behind her origins before the fate of the world is decided.

In this project, I'm currently looking for voice actors for most of the characters in season 1. A few of them will only be able to appear mid-season or by the end of the season. In addition, I am also looking for a few Music Composers for OST's, background music, and so on (to avoid copyright issues).

Here are a few important things to note before auditioning:
- This is a big and long-term project. Season 1 may take 2-3 years of production, given that there may be 10 episodes in total. Season 2 is currently being planned out.
- This project is unpaid.
- Feel free to audition for multiple roles. Please note that character designs may change as the episodes progress.
- Voice Actors who auditioned for certain roles but did not get the part may have a chance to join the series, given that I provide an invite and see that you will be a good fit for another character.
- The age requirement is 16 years old and above. This has to be implemented due to the series' mildly mature theme as it goes on.
- FOR VOICE ACTORS: A good microphone/audio setup with no background noise is required.
- FOR MUSIC COMPOSERS: Please make sure your work doesn't involve plagiarised or AI material. Originality is a must.
- Kindly provide your Discord handle as you audition for me to be able to contact you. (If cast, this will also be our main means of communication)

    Hello everyone! Thank you all so much for showing interest in my series, Overpower. Every single audition has been wonderful, and I truly appreciate the time and effort you've put into them.

    As the casting deadline slowly approaches, I'd like to let you all know that I've officially started thoroughly reviewing all auditions as of August 6, 2026. Please note that the characters presented in this casting call are not the complete cast. This means I will also be reaching out to certain voice actors for one-on-one casting if I believe they would be a great fit for additional characters throughout the season.

    I may also begin requesting retakes from some of you if I feel a different delivery would better suit a character you’ve auditioned for. If you don't receive a message from me regarding a retake, then your current audition will suffice.

KEY NOTES: She has a soothing, cleansing aura. There's something oddly eerie and unsettling about her existence, but her followers cannot help but be blinded by her nature. She is a complex being.
