Overgrowth: Lugaru Story - Fandub
Project Overview
This is a fan dubbing project for Overgrowth: Lugaru Story.
The dubbing is done in video form because I don't know how to insert voiceover into the game, but if someone appears who can do that, I wouldn't mind collaborating.
The character descriptions and their tags are just my own ideas and headcanons, just to give them more personality. Maybe some parts will be changed later.
For characters with 4 or fewer lines, their dialogues are already written out in the roles discriprion. You can voice them here, and I’ll be able to take them and insert them into the dubbing right away.
You can take on and voice several characters at the same time. The main thing is that they are not in the same scene.
When you are logged in, you can comment, add submissions, create projects, upvote, search open roles, and way more. Login here.
Accent is not required, but it is welcome. The main thing is that your voice suits the character.
The main character, so he has the most lines. According to the lore, he is somewhere over 40 years old, a former soldier who fought in a war. A rough male voice. At the beginning he is softer because he is in the family circle, but then he transitions to a more rough tone.

[This is the moment before his loved ones die. He is talking to his daughter. He tries to be softer with her, because he doesn't want anything to happen to her.] I'm sorry. It's just... you don't know what I've seen.
[This is the moment of Turnar's transition into his rough, aggressive stage. He stands over the corpses of his murdered loved ones. The shift from weeping to a harsh voice full of vengeance.] I swear, I will kill all of them.
Why did they do it? They didn't take anything but their lives. Time to return the favor.

[His voice is tired.] All clear... still. You sure we still need to keep watch during broad daylight like this?
[Here, he is tense. He's having another panic attack.] This can't be happening.

Turner returns to the Rocky Hall, after exterminating the wolves from Lugaru Island.

SCENE 1
STORY
Turner tracks the King to the Ruin Block, where he catches him bargaining with a wolf.
King - I can't give you all of them this time. I have a competing offer. The cats are back.
Ash - What good is their business if I take your life right now?
King - No other rabbit will deal with you. Kill me, you starve.
Ash - At least I'll have a few good meals first.
Ash - Fine. Bring them to the usual place. You caught enough this time that I'll let this slide.
Ash - [walking away] Remember, I'll still be here when they're gone.
Shanks - [commenting with Cloud] I never get used to seeing wolves so close. They're enormous.
Turner - [walking out of his hiding spot] I didn't believe it. But it's true.
King - Where did you come from?
Turner - I can't let you just feed our people to the wolves.
King - It's not your decision to make. Shanks, Cloud, do your job.
Cloud - Sorry sir, but I think he's right.
Shanks - This isn't who we are.
King - You'd prefer the wolves just pick us off at will? This is the only way to be safe.
Turner - You're a coward. I'll take your sword and finish them off myself.
King - [preparing to fight] Come and get it.
