Out of this World : A Gacha Club (or Gacha Life) Series

Project Overview

Hello Everyone! :D I'm looking for voice actors for a Gacha Club/Life Series, Out of This World. This series will not have any swearing, in which the rating I'd say would be TV-PG. It will be uploaded on youtube, (the channel being michidango.) where the prologue has already been uploaded. It's a 55 min. video, so for background knowledge you can watch it if you would like. Anyway, that's about it! Here are the rules! I'll update when the first episode's script is actually done.

1. Before you audition, please please please make sure you will have the time to do this! It'll make this whole thing go faster if we have some reliability in this project.

2. Don't stress out on your part! This is for entertainment purposes.

3. You need to have a good microphone! You're more likely to get the part if you do!

4. Please be ages 13 and up to audition.(Exceptions might be made if younger people sound decent.)

5. If you get the role, please don’t leave. Even if it comes to inactivity I plead you to stay so that in the end everything works out.

6. Just have fun!

  • Deadline

    Hello everyone! I apologise for the inactivity, I'm very close to getting the plots done and start working on the scripts. I've been pretty busy these past days, so I hope it's all worth it if I get done with this story during Christmas break. As you know, we have already chosen the female cast, and as for the male auditions and added characters, I might move the auditions from castingcall to discord since castingcall never really gives me any notifications. Again, I apologise for the inactivity and promise to get working quicker for Out of this World. Thank you for being patient.

  • Status on Script

    Hello everyone! Just wanted to say that as of now I'm making a lot of changes to the character (therefore affecting the plot and the finalized script.) So to those who are cast and to those who have auditioned for the male roles, please note I might add female and male extras roles. Please keep in mind I pushed the deadline further so that I could have more time to make thorough changes (and to not overwork myself over the fact i get assigned a lot of homework and such.) I hope you understand! Thank you!!

  • Female Roles have finally been cast!!!

    Everyone who auditioned was incredible. Seriously!!! All of you! I specifically chose the people who fit exactly the voice description of the characters. Thank you!! Male roles will still be open, and other rolesmight as well be added!!!

Kyle is an ordinary quiet kid who has a dream to open a bakery. He has a normal voice for a male teen. (Which is basically just medium - deep, somewhere along those lines.)

Calypso is an alien from the species called 'tids'. She has a rare type of ability, in which she can do magic naturally, though she can't control them. Overall, she is very respectful and nice. She has a bit of a high voice, but not too high. (If you decide to audition for Calypso make sure you will be able to sing!)

Aya is an energetic and free-spirited woman, and is Kyle's mom. She wants to be closer with him because she always hates how much she's in and out of the hospital. She has to go to the hospital because she has sickle cell anemia. She has a high, ENERGETIC and caring voice, however she can get pretty aggressive. If you can sound like a grown woman with a VERY energetic voice, that is preferred! But if you can't that's alright too.

Pollux is also an alien of the tid race, and he is Calypso's best friend. He is in fact very smart, with an IQ of 325, and is pretty cocky sometimes, but clever and serious when he has to be. He has a bit of a higher toned voice than Kyle, but it's at still pretty normal pitch for a male teenager.

Vivi comes from a rich family, she has quite the sassy, sarcastic, and manipulative attitude, but throughout the story she becomes softer and more helpful. She can be classified as a himedere. She has a strong medium pitched voice. (Please note that in order to audition for this part you must be able to sing!)

  • Anyway, you’re done with your shift, right? Some of us are going to the movies tonight to see that one horror movie that just came out. I was wondering if you’d like to come.

Joseph is quite the cool dude. He talks to girls so they can like him, which for whatever reason gives him popularity. Though amongst all the people he's met, he finds Kyle and Liam the most interesting, therefore he tries to get close with the both of them, into which they are a trio. He has a bit of a deepish voice, but if you have a medium voice that's fine too! His voice is a bit more energetic than Kyle's.

Umi is also an alien girl who is a kuudere and is also great in athletics which is what she is mostly known for. She came to earth with her mind on one thing; finding something she had lost. (Note: The audition lines may not be in the script! And to try out for this role you must also be able to sing.)

Kreia is the definition of a trendy, casual, and outgoing teenage girl, though she is also an alien. She is also pretty independent and can get along well with Umi, Skylar, and Calypso, but seems to be frenemies with Vivi. She has a normal, kind of high pitched, voice with much enthusiasm. (Note: The audition lines may not actually be in the script! And you must be able to sing for this part.)

Liam is very cocky and a bit humourous at times. He keeps his reputation by playing football and being the absolute best at it. However, he gets pretty triggered when someone new who tries out comes (that person being Umi which triggers him mostly because she is a GIRL, so mostly he spends his time teasing her when meeting her.). His voice is on the higher side, and it sounds medium.

  • Yeah, Ive simply just accepted that I'll probably be a total scrub in the future.

Korisu (pronounced CORE ih sue) is pretty much the antagonist. At first, she is a friend who has gained everyone's trust, though a bit distant, and it was until the end where she looked as if she was hiding something. They found out that though she is pretty young, Korisu is the current passed down leader and decision maker for Pollentia Party, a group who (spoiler) is behind the tragedies and traumas caused in the many tids who had lived in their Homeland of emotionlessness. They were the ones who hacked the robots into killing people in the prologue, for reasons.  She has a medium, high pitched voice. Though she is pretty evil and manipulative, she is actually kind to everybody but is pretty harsh and psychotic at times.

  • Yeah. Pretty upsetting we had to waste great portions of our lives for just some corrupt society.

  • If you think about it, Calypso, I'm actually on your side.

  • (happy) I don't really let it all get to me anyway!
