  • And the cast list is out!

    Thank you again to everyone who auditioned. I have officially looked over all the applicants auditions and have made a decision. Please let me know if you're still interested in doing OYZ. I will understand if you don't considering it's been a few days since the deadline for the cast list to come out. I know some may have even forgotten about this project. And that's okay. Just let me know and I will recast accordingly. Thanks again for all the interest and I will be contacting the cast shortly. 


    A quick side note, I still need a Amaryouju so if any male not cast or cast would like to try something for him, please let me know.

    Hello Lovelies, 


    Firstly, I want to say thank you to all of you who auditioned. You all have done well, and in the event that you are not cast, I hope that I can see you all again in my future endevaours. So, it's been some time since the deadline, and I have not picked a cast just yet because I have a lot of good talent here. I will be reviewing everyone again and you can expect a cast list within a few days. Again, thanks to everyone who auditioned. This project will soon be underway! I'm excited to get this episode out and to the public as soon as possible.

Susukihotaru is paired with Riken in the Ministry of Spirit Affairs. Like Zakuro, Susukihotaru is a 'Hanyuu', half-human and half-demon. Unlike Zakuro, she is shy and timid. Ever since she was young, like the other girls, she grew up in a society where hanyuu's are seen as bad omen. Thus she has always been scared of humans, so scared that she doesn't even look into their eyes, until Riken came to her life.

She has a strong interest in horoscopes and believes they have real impact in life. She has the power to empathize with objects and people, as she can see what's happened to them/it when she comes in contact with it.


Her voice is medium high. She's kind of timid and quiet. 


Line One she is around the other girls, and she's comfortable. She's mentioning this to Zakuro to try to disway her anger and take her attention.


Line Two she is shyly talking to Riken. She isn't looking at him and is very timid.


Line Three she is shocked because she called Riken scary and he heard her. So she's a little scared.


  • According to the calendar, today is a perfect day for romance.

Hoozuki is one of the hanyuu twins, assigned in the Ministry of Spirit Affairs. She, along with her sister Bonbori are paired with Second Lieutenant Hanakiri.

Hoozuki, like her twin sister, is always cheerful and loves to make people blush with her witty comments. Like her sister, she holds Hanakiri dearly because he is one of the very few who can identify her separately from Bonbori. Well that doesn't make her go any easy on him though, as she pairs up with her sister and teases Hanakiri to the ends.


Her voice is a high medium. Her voice is slightly deeper than her sisters.


Line One she's introducing herself to Ganryu.


Line Two she's teasing Ganryu who had mentioned something that seemed smart. 


She can be played by the same person as her twin.

Bonbori is one of the twins, assigned in the Ministry of Spirit Affairs. She, along with her sister Hoozuki are paired with Second Lieutenant Hanakiri.

She will have a higher voice than her sister. She's High and Bubbly but not loli. And not very cutesy. Just Higher.

Agemaki Kei

Son of the famous General Agemaki of the Imperial Army, Kei is the main male protagonist of the series. Although he appears to be 'the charming prince' he is actually afraid of spirits and freaks out pretty easily when encountering different spirits. Kei is partnered up with Zakuro in the Ministry of Spirit Affairs, she often calls him a "Wuss" which he often admits. He tries to hide his fear of spirits from the others, but ends up being exposed by Zakuro.


His voice should be medium-medium to a medium- high. 


In Line One he is in a petrified shock. He is very high in fear as he was trying to move around the manor to get to the outhouse. 


In Line Two he is in prince charming mode. 


In Line Three he has just run into battle and helped little children and he was too terrified to get up. So he's kind of pathetic.

  • Th-th-This manor is filled with scary spirits! 

  • If a lovely lady like yourself were to touch me... my heart would be swallowed whole. 

  • I'd like to...but I can't stand up

Yoshinokazura Riken

Riken is one of the three Second Lieutenants assigned in the Ministry of Spirit Affairs. He is paired with Susukihotaru.

He is a gentleman and a man of very few words. He is strong and has a well built body, which made Susukihotaru scared of him, but he does his best to make sure she doesn't feel that way anymore.


He is a more monotonous medium low voice (He is not enterely emotionless)


In Line One he is talking to Agemaki and is very matter of fact. Stating the obvious.


In Line Two he is talking to Susukihotaru who previously said that he was scary. He is speaking with a soft voice that's questioning in a innocent way. 


In Line Three he is introducing himself to the group. 

  • Your fear of spirits is rather severe. 

  • Am I still scary?

As animelist does not have a bio for him, I'll explain him myself. He is, for this episode, unimportant. He is there with the General and is present when the 3 male leads get assigned to their new tasks. If I were to continue the series he would be a bigger part. 


His voice is a medium low. He is like a secretary. He corrects the General. He's smart, and has a hidden agenda. 


Line One He is trying to correct the General who previously called the "spirits" demons. So he's trying to be respectful, while also correcting. 

  • Sir. I believe that we should refer to them as "spirits"

Sakura and Kiri

Sakura and Kiri are playful pumpkin-headed spirits. They are extremely small in size. They provide Susukihotaru, Bonbori, and Hozuki branches of cherry blossoms which are used as weapons by pulling the branches out of their mouths.


Sakura is a little girl, so she should be a higher voice because they are children. 


Kiri is a little boy, he should sound like a child as well.

 

If you can pull of two little kids audition. If not, you can audition for one or the other. 


Line One both children are excited to see soliders and are running around them. 


Line Two Sakura and Kiri are playing, and lightning just hit, so she's offering up an idea for them to do. 


Line Three Kiri is cheering on the Lightning in his innocence. 

  • Both: Soldier Solider Solider!~

  • Sakura: Let's start counting the next time lightning flashes, 'kay?

  • Kiri: Lightning! Lightning!

Zakuro's artifact spirit who appears as a sandy colored rabbit with fangs. He is able to talk although when Bonbori and Hozuki first came to the Ministry of Spirit Affairs Mamezo just repeated everything he heared.[2] When Zakuro refuses to work with Agemaki, Mamezo acts as Agemaki's partner instead.[3] Mamezo provides Zakuro a branch of cherry blossoms which can be used as a knife by pulling one out of his mouth.


His voice should be Medium, or Medium High. He is a jokester. He very friendly towards Agemaki and is full of life.


Line One He finds Agemaki and pushes himself into his personal space. He's pretty happy to meet Agemaki. 


Line Two he's drunk. He can't hold his liquor well. He's praising Agemaki, in his own silly drunk way. Think like a drunk frat boy cheering another frat on. 

  • Hey big guy! Let me Introduce myself. I'm Mamezo(Mah- MEH- zo)

  • You can really drink big guy!

One of the three Second Lieutenants assigned in the Ministry of Spirit Affairs is the youngest Second Lieutenant in the history of the Imperial Army.

He is paired with the hanyuu twins, Bonbori and Hoozuki. He is young, smart and has the world of confidence that he will be the youngest General in the history of the Imperial Army. The twins are always all over him and which makes him blush from time to time. Though the twins hold him as someone very special who is one of the very few that can identify them as individuals.


His voice is a higher tone guy. High-Medium.  He is very confident so his speech should portray that.


Line One he is asking a question. It's just a question.


Line Two is where he's being boastful and confident. Very smug. 


Line Three is referencing to the twins offering him a lot of food and he really doesn't want to eat them, but he gives up in the end.

  • However, why have we been brought here?

  • I may look young but I am also a second lieutenant.

  • But I can't eat all of that at once...sigh...thank you very much...

Kushimatsu is a full-blooded fox spirit that receives cases from those seeking aid from the Ministry of Spirit Affairs. She is also the one who brought Bonbori, Hozuki, Suskihotaru, and Zakuro from different regions to live together and takes care of them. Her real form is that of a large white fox that is seen gliding through the air, usually watching over the girls on their journeys.


Her voice is a lower females voice. She is firm and though she can be a bit motherly. She's the type to give orders and expect them to be followed. 


Line One the guys and girls are all together and they are across from each other staring. So, she takes the initiative. 


Line Two she is questioning Amaryouju's decision, but also asking in a philisophical way. As, she has some doubts. 

  • Everyone, Lets introduce ourselves. Zakuro, you first.

  • Is it not possible for spirits and humans to understand one another?

Another lovely character without a bio, so I shall happily supply one. She is a very cheerful character. She has 3 forms. So, she'll need three voices. 


She's a small character so, her appearance with her talking is short. Please do three voices for each line. 


Line One She vaguely heard Agemaki scream in terror. 


Line Two This is one of her other forms and she's doesn't care about the scream. She's freaking out cause she can't find the cockroach. 

  • Hmm? Did you hear that?

  • Forget that! The Cockroach went your way

The General is an elderly man, who acts very eccentric when he is talking about Spirits. He over exaggerates and gives Agemaki more to fear, without knowing. He switches between being eccentric and calm general with ease. 


So, I need a spirited Elder voice. He has a lot of energy and can be a bit snide. But he's a General so it makes sense. 


Line One this is in reply to Hanadate telling him that the demons prefered to be called "spirits". He doesn't really care, and is basically telling Hanadate not to be a kill joy.


Line Two This is where, he starts out normal, explaining about the demons girls. Then he get's very eccentric while describing how he thinks they are, then he's back to normal.



  • Don't be so politically correct, Hanadate.

  • They may appear like normal girls, but once they fight...THEIR MOUTHS OPEN WIDE AND THEN THEY BITE DOWN, THERE'S ALL THIS CRUNCHING! You must keep them on a tight leash.
