Project Overview
The project is a seven-page-script animatic short (pulled from a longer story) that's being done as a passion project.

Story background:
Fen Fowlhouser is a sixteen-year-old nomad coming from an infamous family of mercenaries. She travels constantly throughout the continent, searching for a way to make pay. Fen's only issue is her reluctance to kill- her passion for music and her moral compass keeps her from thriving off violence like the rest of her family. Fen eventually comes along Sainty, a sandy town in the middle of the Badlands, and takes up a job with the local "mob boss." As usual, Fen cons her client into believing she carried out her job, and she walks to the nearest inn with a bag of silver in her hands.
Eventually, Fen is requested another job from seventeen-year-old Pride Mayweather- a request to kill the mob boss she'd worked for. Fen refuses due to Pride's young age, but he continues to push, explaining how he saw Fen's hand-less target leaving Sainty alive; Essentially blackmailing her. Fen must then accept, and the two begin to carry out their plan.
Animatic Short:
Fen returns to the inn tavern from a day of interviews and interrogations with Sainty's towns people, and she and Pride discuss their plan and, eventually, their lives. Just a soft and vulnerable moment of character development between the two.

- This is most likely a one-time project, so you don't need to worry about long-term plans.

Voice Actor
Personality: Fen is known to be stoic and quiet, often "carrying out jobs" without outward emotion or attachment. However, Fen is more witty than anything, secretly attached to almost anyone she meets and crude in her speech. Fen is not afraid to hide her thoughts once she opens up, and this side of her starts to show for the first time in this scene.
Voice: Not high pitched or squeaky, but rather a little on the deeper side. Fen hums, snorts a laugh, and coughs during this scene as well. You must also be able to sing decently- the song she sings is attached here. The singer is myself, and the song is original.
(snappy, but playful) I won't be sharing my personal affairs with someone who's blackmailing me.
(sad, almost regretful) There's just. There's a lot of hate I get for it. There's a lot of rumors out there, about my family, and I'm not really spared from it. I don't kill people, right? But they don't- people don't know that. They throw stones at me and I haven't done shit, right? I haven't done shit.
(confident) A musician. I wish, no, I want to be, a musician.
Voice Actor
Personality: Pride is the type of person who constantly attempts to make light of situations. He's kind above anything else, but his humor can sometimes stretch too far. His insecurities drive most of his actions throughout the story, and this scene is the first time these concerns are (mostly) brought to light. He is able to comfort others well, and this ability of his is prominent in the short.
Voice: Not too low and not too high, somewhere in the middle. I don't have a specific expectation for his voice, but I'd prefer his voice to be on the lower side. if anything
(happy) Hey! If it isn't my favorite not-really mercenary.
(sad and quiet) (he chuckles) Yeah, I don't like any of this, either. But after I saw my Mom today, I don't regret talking to you.
(unsure) Fen, if you weren't a Fowlhouser, what would you be?
