Original dubbed comic project: 'Arrow'
Project Overview
Arrow is an original motion comic about a villainous king named Kakos hiring a group of villains to do his dirty work. The series will follow the characters committing unspeakable crimes in one episode, then doing their boss's chores in another. The idea is for it to be a sitcom in some episodes and a dark drama with little comedy in others. I will be drawing the comic myself and voicing some of the characters who end up without VAs. He should sound high-class in a way, calm and cunning, however when he's angry he should be able to sound deranged and threatening.
(You're extremely angry, your voice should sound like your growling your lines.) I remember... I remember marking every victim. I remember marking them with acute precision. Oh yes, I remember...
(You're greeting someone you don't want to talk to and you're in a very bad mood.) ...Hey. I'm Arrow. Not at all nice to meet you. Please leave me alone now.
(You're threatening someone who insulted you.) I am not a joke! You will regret ever calling me one! I'll get you, and it'll look like a bloody accident!
His voice should sound gravely, but not very deep. He should sound like he's been smoking for decades and it has damaged his voice.
(You're awkwardly trying to threaten someone) Yo yo yo! All y'all yoyos oughta make like something that goes away and like, totally go away, yo!
(You're yelling at someone angrily.) Yo, I've got something to tell y'all! Anime is cringe, broski! It's cringe, (you should say this very loudly) yo!
(You're greeting someone and trying to intimidate them.) Yo, the name's Anui. I don't shake hands, sorry bro.
I have a very specific type of voice in mind for this character. His voice should crack a lot, going from somewhat deep to high pitched multiple times in a sentence.
(You're yelling and very angry.) I, the great and mighty and dare I say extremely handsome Veritas, will take over the world and make everyone watch anime with me! (extremely loud) Forever!
(You're very angry and you're yelling) I, the incredible Veritas, am the ruler of everything in the end! I will prove all those foolish fools wrong by making them all watch anime for all eternity!
(You're maniacally laughing) Hahaha! I have defeated you, foolish hero, or should I say, 'zero'! What do you think? Was that a humorous quip? (You're desperate for a response) Was it?
She sounds soft spoken and quiet. She has a tougher side to her, but for most of the series she'd be shy and awkward.
(You're awkwardly introducing yourself, you're a little uncomfortable.) Um, hi I guess. My name is Serna, but you probably didn't really need to know that... Um, what's your name?
(You're uncomfortable and scared.) Dad, can we leave please? These people make me uncomfortable
He has a very deep and smooth voice, he should sound demanding and threatening.
(You sound very angry.) Serna, stay here. Don't move an inch. If any of these freaks tries to talk to you, I will hurt them very badly.
(You are yelling at your daughter.) I must continue to bigger my company! You cannot stop me, you stupid child!
(You are yelling at your co worker, you're very angry.) Mordera, you, sir, are a fool!
He should sound loud and demanding, preferably his voice would be quite deep.
(Yelling) Arrow! No one walks away from me, Arrow! (muttering to himself.) ...He wants out, I will take him out...
(You sound extremely defeated and uninterested) Come one, come all to Kakos's (pronounced 'cake-os') Krazy Kalamity park. Yahoo... (You sigh)
(You sound enthusiastic) Yes, with this dark magic, I can achieve anything! (You sound slightly annoyed) Yes, anything! (You sound very angry) I'll get you, and it'll look like a bloody accident!
He should have a high pitched voice and a southern USA sounding accent. He will likely have some sort of robotic filter put on him in the final comic, but it is not required to put a filter on your audition.
(you talk somewhat quickly) Hey, hey, hey y'all! It's me, the amazing Robo-Imp, shipped to Kakos' (pronounced cake-os) Krazy Kalamity park from the Veritas Incorporated factory (you interrupt yourself to clarify) trademarked, by the way, (you emphasize this word as you sound annoyed) Roger.
(you say in a mocking tone) Sorry buddy, you abuse, you lose! (you laugh maniacally) Hahahaha!
And remember kids, if you do drugs, you go to hell before you die!
I don't have a clear vision for this character's voice just yet, so feel free to experiment a bit with your auditions. He should have something of an American accent and preferably a rather scratchy and rough voice.
Arrow, buddy, how you doin'? Not good, eh? Well, just remember, you always got a friend in me. Always.
I'm gonna kill you, and I'm gonna do it slow. After everything you put me through, no, this whole damn town, you deserve every second of this.
She sounds cold and speaks harshly. She has a high-class sounding English accent.

She is quite harsh sounding and cold like her mother. She can have any accent, so feel free to experiment a bit with your auditons.

He has an American accent, sounding like a generic pop-star type of character.
