Orbituary (preproduction)

Orbituary (preproduction)

Project Overview

Five years ago, all commication with the USS Promtheus was lost. Most beleived tragedy struck, and it has been a debate on what happened to the crew. Most presume them dead.

That is, until young newscaster Robert "RJ" Walton recieves breaking news: daily audio logs primarily from a Victor Frankenstein, PhD, have been recovered from deep space, detailing the events of what happened prior to the loss of communication. The world is captivated by the story as it unfolds, each event more bizarre and unlikely than the next.

Will the world discover what really happened on the USS Prometheus, or will they just be left with more questions? Stay tuned to find out, by watching Geneva News Today!

_____________________________

Orbituary is a diverse retelling of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein... but in space! It will have new twists and turns and focus on developing characters and their relationships together as much as it develops the miriad of conflicts that arise.

The project is looking specificically for people that have typically excluded from podcasting and classic literature. In the project, people with thick accents, LGBT people, and POC are the priority for casting. Anyone can apply though.

This project will have some mild swearing, mild gore, violence, and fantasy horror.

  • Co-writer Consideration

I am currently considering my twin as a cowriter to this project, but I woul still really appreciate another co-writer or script editor. This position is for pay. Please apply!

The current goal for this podcast is to have 23 episodes. The cowriter will have the ability to write a good portion of this podcast.

I would love to have a cowriter through this, as this podcast is preproduction. I would prefer someone 16-25, and that has read Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. Anyone is welcome, but due to the nature of this podcast, and the characters that we will be writing, LGBT, POC, Appalachians, and other people whose voices are typically excluded from podcasting will get a preference.

To apply please send me some of your writing and information about yourself.
