OOZILISH CAST || Minecraft Roleplay / Skits.
Project Overview
OOZILISH is a Minecraft YouTube/TikTok channel (run by me, Oozy) currently set to release Minecraft shorts, and later branch out to full fledged series. This casting call is set to search for voice actors for the short’s main characters, as well as writers, body actors, and builders.
The short episodes are comedy-based with bits of drama sprinkled throughout, and the topics are pretty random but trendy. It's possible some of these topics may become mature or out-of-pocket, keep this in mind! Catering to those with short attention spans, easy to binge-watch.
Please keep in mind that these are just volunteer positions, I don't make money off this channel! Of course I would love for this to change in the future, but this is how it is for now.
The OOZILISH channel is directed towards a 13+ audience and is extremely LGBTQ+ friendly. Please keep this in mind! Also be aware that some characters will have dialogue that implies swearing, but since they're always censored/bleeped out, there's no requirement for you to actually curse on this project.
REQUIREMENTS:
You need Discord, please leave it in your audition notes!
(Voice Actors) must be 18+, all other roles 15+
(Voice Actors) Be able to work on deadlines, usually 4-11 days. there can be exceptions!
Please make 2 takes of each line, in AABBCC or ABCABC format!

21 - Oozy’s roommate and manager of the record/vinyl store they live above (named HipShop). Justin easily gets stressed over the store, the bills, and, most of all, Oozy. When he's not stressing, he’s otherwise chill, though he sometimes comes off as disinterested. The others enjoy finding ways to get him worked up.

18 - An employee at HipShop, you may need to snap your fingers to get her attention. She’s often busy daydreaming about pretty pink castles and pretty pink guys—wait, what? She’s forgetful and worries about the wrong things, but despite that, Justin can’t bring himself to fire her. Though not the most socially adept, she genuinely cares for people.

20 - An ex-talk show host who was replaced by Oozy and holds immense resentment toward him. The truth is, Rhett was replaced due to his slipping mental state and sanity. Now a bit of a nut, he can’t go minutes without launching into one of his rants. Most of the time, you’ll find him wallowing in his sorrow, letting his misery consume him.

(Confident) Don’t mess with me, I took karate, and I know a bunch of guys. [(teasing) I bet you do]. (Confused/Defensive) What’s that supposed to mean?!
(Scowling) I'm not taking orders from someone like you.
22 - A loyal customer of HipShop who’s always dropping by, snooping on conversations, and joining in on gossip. She’s talkative and charming, though sometimes a bit of a distraction. Her conversations can veer into inappropriate territory, she has no shame. Veronica always buys something when she visits; she must be rich!

(Sympathetic/yet a little judgy) I'm very sorry, you may be the cutest... purple man I've ever seen, but you're just not my type. I'm sure there are some girls out there who won't pay any mind to your condition!
(Defensive) Calm, Justin. I'll buy something, I always do! Just give me a minute, (teasing) pushy.
(Bold) Let's get straight to the point; where are the old man's keys? Give them up, I need them.
32 - Oozy’s manager and perhaps a parental figure? The “old man” who checks in on Oozy and Justin almost every day—and they’re not complaining. He gives off mysterious vibes; no one really knows what his deal is. While he sometimes has the chaotic energy of a crackhead, he always delivers wise..ish words.
(Supportive...) Don't stress kiddo, you know, it also took me many times to learn how to stop setting the microwave on fire. You're doing fine.
(Playfully teasing) If I’m gonna keep playing dad around here, one of you better start making me Father’s Day cards. I’m partial to glitter, by the way.
(Offended) What? Are the gift cards I gave you not good enough? Gosh, you all are some picky children.
Seeking passionate scriptwriters to create fun, (and occasionally slightly edgy) short ideas! You'll help shape brand-new characters- building their personalities, quirks, and traits with care and creativity. Writers should have a strong handle on comedy or drama and love diving deep into character development. This project uses Google Docs! Send in some of your writing examples.
