One Last Spark [A Short, Semi-Animated Series]
Project Overview

If you are triggered by references of sexual assault or abuse, I highly advise you do not audition for this series, as some of my characters have experienced traumatic events in their lifetime and I do not want you to have to be put in a place to constantly hear about it and be reminded of it while you voice in my series. <3
Follow along the story of Winnie Vandarez, as she and a very select group of individuals tasked with leaving Earth at the time the Sun entered it's Red Giant phase search for a new home, deep in the cosmos. Navigating through a universe that is slowly being plunged into eternal darkness as stars begin to die out, she must find a suitable home for the humans of the U.S.S Vigilance to prosper on, find the reason that starlight is disappearing earlier than projected, and keep her team safe. However, when external influences actively work against them, being space itself, and the rest of it's inhabitants, what hope does the last fragment of humanity have to survive this cruel, cold universe?
(RULES)
- You must be 18+ to audition for this. Unless I am specifically casting child characters, I would prefer all of my cast be eighteen and over due to the themes in this series.
- You must have a decent quality microphone. As long as your voice sounds clear, with minimal background noise, you're fine!
- Be comfortable with a fluctuating productivity rate. I am going to aim to have episodes out once a month, but sometimes if I get overwhelmed, it may take longer for me to complete an episode. You have to be prepared to be a part of this project for a while! It's going to be a twelve episode series, after all.
- Be punctual! If I have a deadline for lines to be turned in, I would like lines to be turned in on the deadline, or shortly before/after. I do not want lines that are a week late, that may put me behind.
- You MUST include your Discord tag in your audition so I may add you to the project's Discord!
Lines will be done in an episode-by-episode basis, meaning once I write up an episode, lines will be sent out shortly after. This is to minimize me being overwhelmed. I wanted to try and do it in bulk (meaning I write up all the episodes and send them out and have lines sent in to me in bulk), but I found it a bit overwhelming.

Winnie is the one that was put in charge of the U.S.S Vigilance's Administration Team. Tasked with mapping out the stars and providing the fastest course between star systems. She didn't really ask to be put in charge, but nonetheless she is, and she has to try and figure out a way to make it work. Specializing in defensive magic, she is sweet, kind, a bit on the nervous side, but when it comes to the safety of her friends, she'll step up to the plate for them any day.

(Tentatively) "I'm.. Not so sure if that's the best thing to do here."
(Excitedly, Upbeat) "Come on, guys! Space is full of possibilities, I'm sure we'll find something!"
(Nervously protective) ".. Don't come near me, or any of my friends again!"
Cole is an extremely passionate and fiery individual. She knows she has the looks, and she really likes to flaunt it. Specializing in offensive magic, she helps train the militants of the U.S.S Vigilance, and would die for her closest friends. She is short tempered, witty, sarcastic, but she has her sweet moments.
Medium-to-High Voice Range
(A bit confused, slightly passive aggressive.) "Uh.. Winnie. Shouldn't this be the best course of action instead of THAT? I feel like it would be safer."
(Fiery, Angry) "I told you once and I'll tell you again, be like that to me one more time and I'll cut your hands off and send them down the line to your mother's office!"
(Trying to be sweet) ".. Uh.. C'mon.. Don't cry.. You just did your makeup, you don't wanna ruin it."
Clementine is one of the medical professionals aboard the U.S.S Vigilance, and is one of the only members of the ship that specialize specifically in healing magic. In the friend group, she is kind of the mom, and is always the first one to help Winnie make plans that will affect the future of the ship, and everyone on board. She is nurturing, calm, and has a way of diffusing almost any situation that is thrown at her.
Medium-to-Low Voice Range
(Trying to diffuse a situation.) "C-Calm down, you two! You're starting to draw in a crowd.."
(In full medical professional mode, with slight annoyance.) ".. His injuries are quite severe, and he can't be healed through traditional magic.. Great. Prepare the third medical bay for an immediate operation and make sure we have everything we need."
(Calm, Rational) "Take a deep breath. We'll get this figured out.. We always do, after all."
Sasha is the youngest out of the four cast members. Even though she is an adult, she still very much has that flighty teen attitude. She specializes in Illusionary magic, meaning she is among the team that is in charge of cloaking the U.S.S Vigilance when flying through contested territory. She is sweet when she wants to be, quick to anger, but genuinely cares about the safety of her team.

(Monotone, a bit irritated.) "Shouldn't you be up in the command center jotting down star maps or something?"
(Frustrated, VERY emotional) "I didn't ASK for this! I didn't ask for our star to devour the Earth like candy! I didn't ask to be put in this stupid ship, but here we all are! Get use to it!"
(Happily, Relaxed) " *Exhale* , I could sit up here all day and just watch the stars go by.."
