INTRODUCTION
‼️14+ Audition Call‼️
Hello good people of Casting Call Club! Right now ChromeyStudios, an indie animation company, is casting for the pilot episode (and possibly all of season 1) of an original show called “One Hell Of A Gameshow” that will be on YouTube. I suppose you could think of it as a mix of The Good Place, Helluva Boss, and The Amazing Digital Circus with its own twist of course!
We're looking for a bunch of different voices to cast for main characters, side characters, and minor characters throughout the season. People cast for main roles may or may not be asked to voice characters that make a one time appearance if doing that is something they are open/willing to do.
All roles are in English.
!!TW!! You must be comfortable with swearing as well as conveying different more deep experiences depending on which character you are playing. (Ex: Alcoholism, possible SH, intense physical pain, etc. Please beware that there might be more)
For all roles, there will be a deferred profit share based on how much this project makes. We can’t promise an exorbitant amount of money.
This will be a good project to have under your belt as experience and we hope to continue working with the people who are casted in the future. We want to build a small family of passionate people dedicated to this project that we can support as they grow throughout their career. There is a high chance that voice actors, animators, and musicians will be brought back (if they would accept) for different animated shows we hope to someday produce.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
One Hell Of A Gameshow (as said above) could be considered a mix of The Good Place, Helluva Boss, and The Amazing Digital Circus. It is a gameshow that takes place in hell hosted by a truly psychopathic demon who uses challenges and situations within the gameshow to mentally torture the contestants. They are stuck in a repetitive loop of doing this day in and day out. The show follows the newest contestant as she works her way through her new confusing and tortuous world.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline for this project is set to be September 10th, 2025 at 12:30 PM. However, this deadline may be extended into early October. Assuming that the deadline won’t be extended, within a week, you’ll know whether or not you have been casted. We’ll reach out to you as soon as possible, the latest being September 17th, 2025.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect to be greeted by an overly excited director and writer who will be more than thrilled to have you in the ChromeyStudios Family. Expect to stay part of ChromeyStudios even after the production of “One Hell Of A Gameshow” is over. We are going to make your dreams come true whether you like it or not. >:D
We communicate primarily through Discord and, if needed, WhatsApp, and Gmail. We are open to communicating through different platforms, but most of everything will be done on Discord as we find that the easiest and most efficient way of doing things as of now.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
First of all, we want you to have fun and truly enjoy the project you are working on. We will say it right now, if you aren’t passionate or excited about this project, we don’t want to have you on our team. This shouldn’t be just something you do and finish up quickly just for extra experience. This is a long term project and will take lots of time and dedication.
Please submit clean recordings on a good mic that works for you. Mic quality does matter for this project, no background noises should be audible in your recording. (Ex: other people talking, air conditioning, etc). You may use software to edit out background noise, but beware that you will have to do this for every line and it may decrease the quality of your voice.
Please don’t edit sound effects or voice effects into your takes, that will be done by someone else on the production team.
Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favorite takes, don’t include ones you don’t want to be used for the final cut. Try not to send in too many takes either. For example, three takes is good, but not twenty.
Please submit your recordings to either our company email address (will be provided after casting) or through discord as a .wav or .MP4 file. If a file is too large to submit through email or discord, we will figure something out.
We do occasionally ask for line re-dos, but only when truly needed. We understand that it isn’t always convenient to have to record over again so we will try our best to rarely ask for redos.
And finally, we would like to say that we are planning to at least have one season of “One Hell Of A Gameshow” if not more. As mentioned above, you’ll have to stick around for a while and this project requires a lot of dedication. We ask that you truly consider if this is a project you are ready to put a lot of passion and love into. As also mentioned we love to keep in contact with our animators, voice actors, and musicians for future projects and also to support them in general. We want everyone to feel safe and loved at ChromeyStudios. We want to see you and ourselves do what we truly love in life while working together.
