One Breath Too Late - PODCAST STORY
Project Overview
Plot:
One Breath Too Late is a short story podcast depicting a friendship between a hospital patient and a volunteer, and perhaps something more.
With so many contrasts in the world- sickness and health, loathing and loving, loss and gain- everything becomes unexpected, frightening.
Truly, there's no telling what may come of dancing between life and death.

THINGS TO KNOW:
-This project is unpaid. I will be giving credit, but I currently do not have the means to give anything else. My apologies.
-If the template provided within character descriptions is not filled out and submitted with your audition, your audition will not be looked at.
-Discord is a necessity, as it's where communication occurs, as well as where important announcements and posts regarding Springfield Productions projects are posted.
-This will be a semi-long-term project. Your part as a VA will take no longer than a few months.
-You must have good communicational skills or this will not work.
-This is the second project for Springfield Productions (while the first is still ongoing), which is a one-person-run channel. Please do not go into this expecting to work with an extremely popular and high-exposure company.

Personality: A is a very calm and kind person. She does her very best to help those around her with anything at all, and pushes herself to make the world better- whether it’s through volunteering, helping make a statement, or simply complimenting a stranger. She’s the type someone would go to for a long talk or a warm embrace, the one someone would approach for a question and form a life-long friendship with.
She’s caring, sentimental, and passionate- the person you read about in books or see in movies, though she does have a bit of a more playful side at times.
Sum up: Kind, passionate, sentimental, caring. Voice Type: She has a very soft and sincere voice, which is medium in pitch.
Her VA should be able to portray emotions well, as well as be able to carry a sort of sweet tone.
Her role will involve speaking at higher volumes. Be aware of this.

Significance- Male Lead
Personality: Blunt and often perceived as rude. He’s the stereotypical “cold on the outside, warm on the inside” character.
He wouldn’t take a second look at strangers, nor would he spend his time thinking of how to spare their feelings. He says what he means, and is, more often than not, a big fan of brevity. All said, however, he's very inwardly affectionate and would give anything for his loved ones.
Sum up: Blunt, inwardly affectionate, brief.
Voice Type: He has a deep, monotone voice. If not monotone, it’s typically filled with annoyance. His VA should be able to portray these things, but duality will be important.
They should also be able to speak in a more kind-hearted way, as if changing between irritation and fondness.
His role will involve speaking at higher volumes. Be aware of this. He will also be coughing a lot in the script.
