On the Line: Animated Short Film

Project Overview

On the Line is an animated short film coming from a group of students in Sheridan College's Animation program. It's a sci-fi dramedy with a lot of heart and a lot of stakes!

Cris is broke, directionless, and estranged from his family. When he finds out an asteroid is going to hit Earth, he wants his last day alive to be without regrets. Going through a bucket list of exceedingly thrilling activities, from skydiving to swimming with dolphins, Cris realizes time is running out, and there’s one thing on his list he's been avoiding... calling his mom!

We have exactly ONE character in this film with spoken dialogue, which is our main character, Cris! We want to match him with a voice full of personality and relatability, so bring your most authentic voice to us. Do your best and have fun with your audition!
