OK K.O. Let's Be Heroes! - Fandub Casting Call [Main Cast AND Boxmore Bots]
Project Overview
Please watch the video above for audition information. You can also feel free to submit your audition right here. Thanks! ^-^
You need a good or at least decent microphone. (Recording on a decent sounding cell phone mic is optional as well, not all staticy and kinda muffled please.) Little to no unnecessary background noise or static.
You must be able to record your voice with the proper tone, emotion tempo and inflection for the character
The voices should be relatively close to the original as possible, but if you’d like to add a little take or spin of your own, then feel free to do so!
Auditioning for more than one character is fine, but the limit is up to three or four.
To send in your audition, link me the video of the desired character(s) in an untitled Youtube video with no background sounds, just your voice. (If you happen to have a Tumblr, alternatively you can save it as a draft and link it for me to have a listen.)
And last but not least… Be a good sport and HAVE FUN!! :D

[thinking] I want to be a great hero. How do I become one? Will I wake up as a hero one day? Will I transform into one? No. That's not right. I can't become a hero right away, so I'm gonna learn how by working here at Lakewood Plaza Turbo one step at a time.
If being strong mean hurting my family and friends, then it's not worth it!
Hah! Don't let appearances fool you! Witness the power of a true hero!
An alien refugee from Planet X and an employee at Gar’s Bodega. He is shown to be a slacker, as he is seen sleeping on the job and moments later, deciding to take a break. He appears to be boastful when he brags to KO about his strength as soon as he met him. It’s been implied he has no sense of direction and at most, unintelligent. He is apparently a big brother figure to KO, but it mostly rubs off to Enid as a unreliable influence. He often shows off his special move like it takes no effort.
It's just a Power Poke. Y'know, a special move.
Uh, shouldn't we tell him that power levels aren't always everything?
Yo, Enid, check out the squirt. Nice face, right?
The female and laid back teen of Gar’s employees. She’s the most responsible of the main trio. She tries to use logic and critical thinking to make rational decisions. Unlike Rad, who seemingly enjoy making fun of KO, she looks after KO and tries to stop him from getting into trouble.
(bored, uninterested)That'll be 20 technos. Have a... day.
K.O., don't wave at him. He's evil and a total nerd.
When a dumb nerd and a dumb factory love each other very much, they waste a lot of time and money making dumb robots to attack the plaza.
The loving and powerful single mother of the title character of the series. Probably gave up her hero career after her son was born. Appears to be an authority figure to KO, as she seem to have him figure out the lesson he must learn, instead of telling him directly, which usually wouldn’t help learn anything. The whereabouts of her husband is unknown at the moment.
Everyone in that binder of yours came from humble beginnings, K.O. I mean, even Mr. Gar has to work hard to become the hero he is today.
Oh, K.O., my precious kale chip. What happened, honey?
(scolding T.K.O.)How could you? You know I'm always willing to support your decisions, but this phase has gone too far!!
The fine proud founder and owner of Gar’s Bodega and manager of Lakewood Plaza Turbo. Has a lot of pride in his work. A strong character and strong personality, very serious and straight to the point, especially about his business and the plaza. Many characters, mostly his employees see him as very wise and admire/look up to him as an authority figure. His serious demeanor tends to come to a halt whenever he’s around Carol, becoming a nervous wreck.
Don't disappoint me, now.
Mondays, am I right?
You two, get this mess cleaned up.
The main antagonist of the series, he runs a robot factory, “Boxmore Enterprises”, which happens to be right across the block of Lakewood Plaza Turbo. To sum it up, basically he despises friendship because he sees it as a hinderance of a decline to his robot production rates. That and he thinks it’s just plain disgusting. (to him at least XD)
Now to watch from the shadows, like a total creep.
So you're the little twerp claiming to be level 100. HAH! Impossible!
Ernesto 2199, can you not see that I'm trying to focus on getting upset about some kids across the street having fun?!
Darrell is a robot created by Lord Boxman. Darrells play the role of Lord Boxman's loyal henchmen. They are built with brains which sit inside a compartment above the head, acting as the cranium. If Darrells are ever destroyed and come back, the next Darrell will remember what happened in its previous body.
Darrells are known for their trickery, persistence, and stupidity. He hates the heroes of the Lakewood Plaza Turbo, especially K.O, Rad, and Enid. Despite his temper and evil ways, he shows a soft side via a need for affection from his father, Lord Boxman. As a result, he is very receptive to any praise that Lord Boxman might give him. Darrell also has a never-ending rivalry with his sister figure Shannon.
Darrells can be described as being rather emotionally unstable, as they are easily aggravated. They can also become easily flustered by the pettiest of insults; this is one of Darrell's weaknesses.
Darrells can be customized in various ways (though not to the extent that Shannon's can), such having a laser cannon on one arm and a giant fist on the other. Darrells can also send out seemingly endless multiples of themselves.
Level: -4
Original voice actor: Ian Jones-Quartey
I am Darrell, and I've come... to DESTROY! (maniacal cackling)
Daddy, may I wear my costume?
What I'm about to do to you will be the worst. And the last....... CAUSE YOU'LL BE DESTROYED!!
Shannon is a robot who is mostly orange, with thick legs and slim arms. She has a half-circular shaped head with dark orange eyelids and red pupils. She also has a triangular green object on her chest. She wears long, dark orange boots, along with wristbands along her arms and waist to match. Her fingers are sharp, like most robots made by Lord Boxman.
Never send a 1.0 to do a 2.0's work, daddy.
Greetings, Lakewood losers! It's me, Shannon!
(awkward) Isn't attacking the plaza the... sole reason we exist?
Raymond has a very flamboyant and egotistical personality, with a very cocky and condescending demeanor. He's also appears to like sports, as he often uses sports idioms. He also has a tendency to be very over dramatic.
Why would I dodge when I can just dodge....ball?
Whip whip whippity-whip!
You're having a shindig without me? The prince of panache?
They are so bureaucratic that they're unable to do anything without filling out the proper paperwork first. They have also never taken vacation days. Ernestos are usually seen chatting around the office cooler.
If I could just have a sliver of your time, Lord Boxman. A client, uh, just called.
Should we be offended by that?
Sounds like your meeting with miss Cosma sure went well! You must be glad to be rid of that obsession of yours now, huh?
Mega Jethro however is a massive form of Jethro shown in the episode, "Jethro's All Yours". It is shown to be incredibly durable, as it was not dented by a punch from Radicles. To defeat the Mega Jethro, K.O. and Rad had to climb through a port entrance located in the robot's eye and pull a lever inside its head to reverse its movement.
I am Jethro!
I am Mega Jethro!
