"Of Stars and Dust" - An Animated Gacha Series
Project Overview
Welcome everybody !
This Casting Call for an original Gacha Club series named "Of Stars and Dust" !
I am currently looking for Voice Actors, script writers, Animators/Tweeners, Background Makers, Storyboarders, Outfit and Character Makers, Lip Sync, and artists.
So yes, we need quite a lot of people.
The premise
After an inter-stellar diplomatic incident, the rulers of several planets decides to send their children to a school on Earth to whenever or not the Earthling should have another chance. While most people on Earth have no idea of what is secretly happening, the Moon Princess Kaguya, her older brother Tsukuyomi and their friends have to adapt to Earth's climate and society ? What will happen ?
This series is going to talk about very serious issues, so you've been warned
Lore
Nobody knows it, but you don't need to go too far from Earth to find other intelligent beings. Actually, you can find them in the solar system. However, it is actually kept a secret from most of the population and only a handful of people on Earth knows about their existence. The reason of why it's kept as a secret is because of an agreement between most countries of Earth and the rulers of the other planets. Neither of them want to be disturbed by one another, nor did they want an inter-stellar war as Earthlings were obviously way too weak to survive this kind of war.
Nowadays, there is a special but secret agency on Earth in charge of the diplomacy between Earth and the other planets of the Solar System, named The Blue Planet Agency.
Their agents have to follow very strict guidelines when interacting with the rulers of the other planets. They can't talk about their job or the other beings outside of work and once an agent has to retire/quits/gets fired, their memories about the Agency and the other beings living on the other planets of the Solar System are wiped out.
Tsukinoteikoku, better known as the Moon Empire, is one of the most important Empire in this Solar System. Despite the Moon not being a planet, it is a very advanced place, both technologically and magically speaking. However, the Lunarian society is very misandristic. Like, it's very much like the in the 50s but with the gender reversed : the men are supposed to stay at home, the women are the one in charge. In the imperial family, only female members can be considered to be heir to the throne and male members can only become Emperor if there is no female relative eligible for the throne.
Their currency is called the "Lunar".

The current Moon Empress is Chang'e and the heiress to the throne is the Crown Princess Kaguya.
Solaris, also known as the Sun Kingdom, is the biggest kingdom of the Solar System. Heliosians are less advanced technologically than their neighbors the Lunarians, but their magic is incredibly destructive. However, the Heliosians' society is incredibly misogynistic. Their currency is called the "Solarian".
1 Solarian = $20
This kingdom is incredibly wealthy and Heliosians have no problems showing off their wealth.
The current King of Solaris is King Helios and the heir to the throne is Crown Prince Apollo.
Mercury ... is the Kingdom of Mercury. Mercurians are extremely intelligent people. However, they also love to make fun of people who are dumber, as they are "inferior" to them ... even if it's other Mercurians or their own family members. They don't care about gender, sexuality or race ... they only care about intelligence. And if you don't have it, then prepare yourself to be everyone's verbal punching ball. The Kingdom of Mercury is known for having an incredibly high stress rate and a ridiculously high mortality rate.
Additionally, once the monarch has to retire, all of their children will have to pass a test in order to determine who will be the new monarch.
Their currency is called the "Hermes".
1 Hermes = $6.
The current King of Mercury is King Enki and the heir to the throne is still undecided.
Requirement for the project
You need to have Discord as this is the only way I'll be able to communicate with you.

Audition rules

No more than two takes per lines per auditions
VA auditions needs to be either in .mp3 or .wav format
For the other auditions, please make a Google Drive folder OR sent a link to a website (DevianArt, Instagram, YouTube, etc) where I could see your work)
For script writers, put your script on a Google Drive and then put the link
Directors
I'm going to need some extra help directing this series, which means I'm going to need directors. However, unlike the other roles, I will cast the directors at an earlier date. Why ? Because I want them to help me with all the auditions on both Discord and Casting Call. To apply, you just need to fill the form.

The VA roles
This series will be in english, so Voice Actors must have an okay level in english.
Also, as the series progress, new characters will be introduced, and thus we'll need more voice actors to voice them. So please don't be sad if you didn't get a role, as there will be plenty of opportunity to get another role !
Tweening
This Gacha series is going to be an animated one, so tweening and lip-syncing will be an extremely important part of the project ! If you can do both, then it's great ! But you'll have to put your audition in Tweeners and show a bit of lip sync in the audition.
Outfit makers and Character makers
Outfits and background/minor/supporting characters will be needed for the series. You don't need to make complicated characters/outfits, simple outfits can work too ! The character makers can make characters that can later have an important role in the series.
Background makers, thumbnail makers and artist
Background makers are also important to the making of this series, so are the artists and the thumbnail makers. As I said in the requirements, only stolen art, may it be character drawings, thumbnails or backgrounds, will result in you being kicked out of the project.
Script Writers
Every job on this project as its importance, including script writers. The only thing I really want is them coming up with original ideas and twist.
Storyboarders
Storyboards are essential to have a better view of what a scene could look like if put on screen. You don't need to make complicated drawings, doodles can work too !
Intro and Outro makers
Every series has an intro and an outro. It doesn't need to be a very complex one ... but keep in mind that the credits will be in the outro.
Additional informations
The deadline for the auditions is June 1st (except for the directors). If you need any more info on the project, feel free to ask me on discord. This project will be 14+ as it contains really sensitive topics.

Despite him being arrogant, he won't bully anyone. He is in love with the Moon Princess Kaguya ... but has no idea she is lesbian.
