Oc Animation "Kandid Learns Fire" Voice Acting Call
Project Overview
Plot:
Kandid, Lyke, and Mayn embark on a journey to find out what happened to Kandid's mother after the first revolution ended. In this animation, Kandid is struggling to learn how to control his fire abilities and needs a little encouraging from Lyke and Mayn.
Rules/Details:
-There are more lines than what I have listed for the audition
-Please have discord so I can contact you.
-I don't care what kind of microphone you use, just make sure there is no background noise when you record.
-This project is unpaid
-The deadline is in two weeks but I might close it earlier if I find voices I really like.
-When the animation is finished, it will be uploaded to YouTube and credit will be given to the voice actors
*The storyboard for this animation is completed and will be shown to the voice actors that get the parts to finish the rest of the lines.

Plot: Kandid is an 18 year old male who is sailing on a journey with his friend, Lyke, and Lyke's younger sister, Mayn, to find out what happened to his mother. He can control weather and water, but is struggling to learn how to control fire.
Voice: While Kandid's voice shouldn't be very low, but it shouldn't be too high either. In this specific animation, he should sound slightly tired but still somewhat expressive in his dialogue in a way that doesn't come across as angry or like he is yelling. He is frustrated with himself and doesn't want to take it out on his friends.
Lines:
Line 1: He should sound disappointed in himself but not angry. It's more like he is tired and is complaining about how long it is taking him to learn how to control fire.
Line 2: He is annoyed here but shouldn't sound too harsh. His friends little sister is present during the scene, so he would keep an open mind not to yell or talk on a way that would scare her.

Water and weather come naturally to me but fire... It's so foreign to me. I haven't even been able to keep a spark lit.
*sigh* You're probably right but I haven't made any progress and I'm starting to lose my patience.
Plot: Lyke is an 18 year old on a journey with his friend, Kandid, and his younger adopted sister, Mayn. As Kandid struggles to learn fire, Lyke keeps an optimistic attitude and encourages Kandid to keep trying.
Voice: Lyke's voice should be higher than Kandid's but not cartoonishly high to where it sounds intentionally high and strained. I sort of imagine the "male anime protagonist" voice for him. He is expressive in the way he speaks but not too over the top, as he is calm in this scene.
Lines:
Line 1: Lyke should sound encouraging. He truly believes that if Kandid keep trying, he will learn how to keep a flame lit.
Line 2: He should sound calm, and a little touched that Mayn is also encouraging Kandid to keep trying.
