Obsidian Spirits: Urgent Roles Needed!
Project Overview
This is the casting call to the first season of "Obsidian Spirits". Obsidian Spirits is an animated and a semi gacha series, also PG-13. This is a side, beta, passion project that is merely only for fun, note that all roles are unpaid. This isn't serious and we're hoping to have fun thorough the process. Episodes will be posted on YouTube.
The first season will take part on Earth, and will have a lot of realistic fiction traits. The plot takes in a world where people from around and outside the world--realistic Earth are training hard just for their reputation in this one sport, Obsidian Battles, formerly known as The War of Obsidian. Obsidian Battles, a competition in which all humans, creatures, and spirits battle among the battlefield. Rules here are simple. The round will continue until one of the players drops their weapon or breaks them. Dropping your weapon will give your opposing player one point, while breaking your weapon will give your opposing player two points. The game will continue until the time runs out for both rounds and the winner will be the one who has more points. Warriors are allowed to use any kinds of methods that include their spirit, their weapons, or their skills. Any actions outside those methods will make them warned. The main story of season one will be how one day, a group of royalty prodigies who goes by the name “The Royales” visited Earth to host a tournament to find the best of the best to help them defeat an evil, yet mighty empire. Midorikawa Aikyuu, a fourteen year old girl finds it the best chance for her to prove herself.
Requirements:
- All voice actors must be comfortable speaking the English language.
- All members must have an active discord account, which will be the main way to communicate. Kindly leave your discord tag somewhere in your audition.
- Please submit clean recordings with no background noises or audio. You're free to cut your lines to your favorite takes but make sure to be careful and make sure your line doesn't get cut.
- We will ask for re-dos and fixes if we need to.
- Recordings will be collected in drive folders.
- Obsidian Spirits is a running series with hopefully multiple seasons, so we're hoping to be able to work with people who can stick around for quite a while.

Kai is a supporting character in this project. He is rather quiet and cold in most times and first appears as the friend of a mean, popular, rich girl named Vienna Silvius (Vienna). Kai is indeed the most mysterious amongst the other members of the main team as he is the only one not human and his backstory is shown later in the series (possibly season 2).

Voice Pitch: Medium, Kai pretty much talks like an average highschool boy. References include ALBEDO FROM GENSHIN IMPACT, as their pitch and accents are very similar.
