Project Overview
Ø Break - Island's Rising is an animation series being started based on Pokemon. It takes place at an island known as Harris Island, which is home to a couple really unique Pokemon, including weird variations, fusions of some Pokemon, and more! What entirely the series is going to be about is currently undecided, though to start with we plan on just making a few simple episodes explaining who each character is and their backstory, and we work from there.
Our main form of communication will be though Discord, so make sure you have a Discord account and send your username it in your audition.

Kaz is a constantly stressed and sad ghost who tries her best to be a good person and live a nice life. She starts off being really shy and scared of everything, but as she meets some more people and grows up with them, she starts getting confidence and learning how to live her life as a normal person, even if she is a ghost.
She's a mix of the Pokemon Eevee, Vulpix, Fennekin, and Zorua, though she doesn't entirely know that herself, and really doesn't know if she wants to find out. Because of being a mix of all these different species, she's given access to many different powers, one of which including an advanced illusion ability, letting her create visual, audio, smell, and touch, and taste illusions, which she frequently uses.
In the beginning of the series, Kaz won't be speaking very much. She starts off often using illusions to either make images of words appear or even copy others' voices to form her own sentences. As time goes on though, she starts gaining confidence and tries speaking on her own, and after long enough, she is able to, and is able to speak well.

Lilith's a pretty chill demonic-looking Gardevoir. She used to be a criminal and caused lots of pain for many people, but over time she ended up chilling out a lot, end even regretting what she used to do, and so, she's trying to make up for it. Because of all the pain she caused she's now just trying to be a better person and help out everyone she can, whether or not she really wants to.
Lilith has a pretty twisted sense of humor and sometimes likes to mess with/make fun of people, but doesn't always mean it, and really overall, she's not exactly a great person, but she's just trying.

Laura is a Sylveon who works for the Fighters Guild of the island, meaning she works to protect the residents of the island by capturing outlaws and saving any residents that may be in any trouble. She takes her job very seriously and enjoys doing it, whether or not she shows it at all.

Vivi is an always happy shiny Eevee. She sounds and acts like a little kid which makes it hard for people to tell she's really a teenager. She loves exploring places and wants to help all the people she is able to no matter what. She's not quite the smartest when it comes to some things though despite that she still finds her ways to help people.

Adam is a Fleafeon, a mix of a Leafeon and Flareon, who likes meeting people and hanging out with friends. He's part of the island's Fighters Guild, meaning he protects the residents of the island, almost like how police would. He's often very relaxed, loving to take naps, though if he needs to, he can get very serious about some things, especially fighting.

The animator will animate most of the series, they will work with the background illustrator to create scenes involving often times 2 or 3 important characters, sometimes more. The artstyle has not been decided yet so currently we are open to any kind of artstyle, we just want you to be able to draw Pokemon and Pokemon-like creatures.
Episode lengths have not been decided quite yet though is likely to end up at 10-15 minutes.

This role will help with planning out episodes/chapters in the series by storyboarding it for the animators to work off of. You will be working together with the animators and directors to create storyboards for the upcoming episode/chapter.
