Project Overview
Night Law is an audio drama about New York City - The city that never sleeps. Night Law takes this term of endearment in a literal sense. At night, through some technological marvel, neon-lit tracks burst free from the pavement, making way for chaos and hedonism. Adrenaline junkies rule the night, and road safety laws are nonexistent.

Jace "Pitstop" Torres is Night Law's 27-year-old main character who drives a cobalt blue Volkswagen beetle named Sappho and seems to be on the opposite of a winning streak when it comes to races. He's sarcastic, witty, and most definitely not afraid to speak his mind. His best friend Scott "Crash" McCormick never leaves his side, even though the two can often be seen bickering like an old married couple.

Scott “Crash Test Dummy / Crash” Mccormick is a 29-year old man who drives a neon yellow Mercury Sable, and is the main character Jace’s best friend. He’s about as unlucky as Jace, the only difference being that instead of simple mechanical breakdowns, Crash tends to… Well, Crash. He’s funny, goofy, and uses so much slang from so many different eras you’d think he was a confused vampire.

(Crash and Jace’s ex-friend, left New York to transition + become a singer in LA) - Brooklyn Holmes is a 29 year old trans-female singer based in LA, but before she went to California to pursue her dreams, she was a racer named Cruise in New York City. She doesn’t like to talk about this time in her life very much, but it’s been theorized that some of her more vague songs are about it. She is, however, very open about her transition, and a lot of her songs are about it.
Also, you WILL need to have singing experience, very important.

Jacobi Torres is Jace’s father. He mentored Crash, Jace, and Cruise, until he got a fatal injury from a race. After his death; Jace threw himself into working on the car that his father had left him (Sappho), Crash stuck around with Jace for convenience sake, and Cruise… left. He’s kind, strong, and always tries to be there for his kids (Even if someone wasn’t).
