Night In The Woods Fandub

Project Overview

Hello everyone! I've been wanting to dub Night in the Woods for awhile now, so I thought... "Why not just do it?" First things first, you must have a good mic for this project. No background noise at all, or static. You must have a Discord, or Skype, so I can personally message you about lines when they are needed. Mae has dark blue fur with dyed red hair. She has large red eyes, which she dislikes and refers to as "nightmare eyes." Her right ear is also notched from a dog attack.

Mae has had a troubled past, depression, and anger issues. She's snarky and at first, short with those around her. As the game progresses, she becomes a little more compassionate, in some routes comforting people who don't feel they're quite worth much. She seems to worry about Bruce and seems to genuinely care for her "rat babies" once she discovers them. Possibly due to her depression, Mae is a little nostalgic and reminiscent of Possum Springs prior to her leaving for college. She often looks at how much has changed.

Bea was Mae's childhood best friend until 7th grade, but soon grew apart until Mae's return to Possum Springs after dropping out of college. She is a member of the band playing on the drums/computer.


Bea is a rather gloomy and depressed young adult. She is often tired and stressed due to working at the Ol Pickaxe most days. She also smokes a lot, often having a cigarette in her mouth.


Yet despite her dour outlook on life, Bea possesses a strong sense of responsibility and duty. When her mother died, Bea shelved her dreams in order to look after her father feeling she has no other choice. She also forced Mae return stolen merchandise after initially being goaded into committing "crimes" with her and often feels guilty whenever involved in any potential criminal activity.


  • My entire life feels like running after something that keeps moving away into the distance while I stay in the same place.

Angus Delaney is a tertiary character of Night in the Woods and Gregg's boyfriend. He works the day shift at Video Outpost "Too" and shares an apartment with Gregg in Towne Centre.

Angus is a quiet and polite individual with an interest in science. Bea describes Angus as an "annoyingly strident atheist" and as such, Angus will dismiss the paranormal even when encountering a strange situation. Instead, he prefers an evidence-based approach to almost everything.

  • We're good at drawing lines through the spaces between stars like we're pattern-finders, and we'll find patterns and we like really put our hearts and minds into it and even if we don't mean to... So I believe in a universe that doesn't care and people who do.

Candy Borowski is the mother of Mae Borowski and the wife of Stan Borowski. It's implied that the two had a rocky relationship in the past. Candy looks almost like Mae but older, she has dark blue fur and red eyes. She wears a green coat with a light red shirt under it, turquoise pants and white shoes.

Stan Borowski is the father of Mae Borowski and the husband of Candy Borowski. He is often seen lounging on the couch watching Garbo & Malloy after a day.

Stan is a hard-working father with a traditional outlook on family, lamenting that he is incapable of fully providing for his wife to have time and money for her own hobbies. This causes Stan to hate his job at the Ham Panther as he believes a job should be able to provide a living wage, regular hours, and respect.

Germ is Germ. His name is actually Jeremy Warton, but Germ Warfare just stuck. In fact, no one knows where Germ lives, what Germ does, or what his deal is (apart from Mae). At some point, he started showing up to hang out. Sometimes he comes to listen to the band, which consists of the main characters. He’s nice enough, but who knows? He’s weird. He’s Germ.
