NieR - The Lost Verses Audio Drama (ENG Dub)
Project Overview
The Lost Verses and Red Sky is an audio drama set in the universe of NieR Replicant and Automata, and serves as a prequel to both. Released only in Japan, I am aiming to dub the entire thing in English to make for an easily accessible version for English speaking fans. Due to the nature of this, and my inability to make money from a fandub, I cannot offer much compensation monetarily for a project such as this - making this a simply "for fun" project. That being said, I am putting a lot of time and energy into recording, editing, and in general stitching this thing together. Linked above is a compilation of the first 6 tracks of the Drama CD - rebuilt from the ground up in English.
I am currently looking for a voice actor for the grandmother of one of the main characters. This role is pivotal to the tracks she takes part in, and is an instigator for several of the plot points across the rest of the drama. An older woman anywhere from her 40's to her 60's - Kali is a woman obsessed with her image and status. Fitting into the archetype of "Karen", she is confident, sure of herself, and cold towards her granddaughter, Kainé . Some could describe her as cruel in nature, only caring about her status and wealth over the wellbeing of her family. However, deep down she does have some form of love for her family.
(NOTE: Kainé is pronounced "Kai - nay"
