Nexus Casting Call || Model Horse Series||
Project Overview
Hello friends! I am holding a casting call for NEXUS, a short series I am working on for my YouTube Channel. I am currently taking film classes at my school, and I first fell in love with film but making model horse series.
Storyline:
The war between Astoria and the arms of the one they call the Nexus has left the kingdoms in ruins. Following the story of the a unlikely group of friends, and the kingdom of Fangorn, as well as a few other characters, Nexus is a fantasy short series.
After being told she is having an arranged marriage Princess Charlotte and her brother prince Bash run away from the kingdom and look for an adventure. Charlotte and Bash Eyanzer run into the mysterious traveler Atticus Rynherst. Charlotte is soon abducted as a ransom has been put on her head, and is captured by the unknown forces thought to be destroyed in the war.
Mason and a mysterious group called the Nexus has been infiltration the kingdoms of Astoria, plotting to take over the region. As their plans are beginning to finalize, the Nexus is ready to strike the weak kingdoms of Astoria
Requirements:
1. Patience - please know that it does take time to film and edit videos, and I may ask you to re-record lines. Just be patient with me as i'm editing and i can do the same for you!
2. Mic-Quality - I do take time to make my videos good, if y'all could do the same in making sure that your mic quality is good as well, i'd deeply appreciate it! That’s not to say this is necessary as I’ve been known to cast people with cheaper mics in the past, but if you cant afford or don't have a good mic, cell phone's mic in a quiet room is just as good!
3. Responsibility - Please, Please, Please get your line in on time! even thought this is a short series, i still need you to be dedicated to this series and get your lines in on time. I do understand things come up, and you can let me know in advance, but please try to be on time, this is a courtesy to me and the other voice actors in the series.

There will also be other characters throughout the series in need of voices. I may feel that your voice may fit another character in need of a voice, if that happens i will contact you and see if your interested in the part!

An outlaw within the kingdom. His father was a lead commander back in the war, but was killed due to being claimed a traitor to the kingdom and the throne. His mother died from disease, now travels alone throughout Astoria looking for any work he can get for some money.
(Worried) I thought he was destroyed in the war long ago?*pause* If he has returned, then the entire whole of Astoria is at risk.
(Angry, Quiet) Talia may trust you, but if you ever betray us! There will be consequences.
The wisest and by far the prettiest of the characters, but keeps to herself most of the time and has trust issues. She was an orphan as a child, from the death of her parents in the war. She was adopted by her grandmother Palie after the news of her parents deaths, and now takes care of her sick grandmother.
(sweet, sarcastic) *Well* if i'm ever in any trouble and in need of saving, ill call you
(Stern, sad) War is no laughing matter! My father died, giving his life to the cause!
Ran away from home after he was of age, due to his father being so harsh on him as a child. Now travelling as a hired mercenary, trader, or any skill to make money. After running into Atticus, and learning of the true power in the kingdom his perspective shifts on his place in the world.
(soft, sweet) Talia, i love you*pause* i would die trying to protect you
(Stern, annoyed, loud) You are nothing! and you will never be anything more than the dirt under my hooves!
Bash is the young prince of the kingdom of Astoria, and next in line after his sister Charlotte. His is definitely the child of all the characters, and takes everything in the world as a joke. He is pushed harshly by his father King Thayes to run the kingdom in the future and to be the perfect prince.
(Childish) I was just letting you win this time, if i was really trying, i would have beat you in a few seconds.(Sad) I'll never be as good a king as father was...if i could just be good at something for once in my life.
As the young Princess of Astoria, and being next in line to rule Charlotte faces an arranged marriage with Ace the young prince of the kingdom of Athenya. She has always been the perfect daughter, always following the rules and doing what her mother and father told her to do. She has always wanted to go out an see the world, away from the rules. she's very smart, courageous, and collected.
(Loud, Angry) You never ask what I want! I've spent my whole life trapped in this castle, i want to go out an see the world!!(Calm, confident, a little sarcastic) what are you waiting for, if your going to kill me why don't you just do it?
The young prince is arranged to marry Princess Charlotte, to bind the kingdoms of Fangorn and Athenya, and bring peace to Astoria. Unlike Charlotte, Ace is looking forward to the marriage, but is soon taken aback as Charlotte runs away. He love for Charlotte may change as he soon spends time travelling with the servant Alya, looking for the young Prince and Princess.
(Amused) haha you got lucky, what could you really do to me?
(Angry) If you were half the horse I was, maybe you would have been able to save her!
Mason is king Theyas personal guard. Mason is from an unknown land outside of Astoria, but king Theyas trust him due to his long work with the Eyanzer family. He is dark and mysterious and no one really knows much about where he comes from and what his past is. When a dark force suddenly shows up in the region of Astoria, Mason is thrown out of the Kingdom of Fangorn as a traitor to the crown.
Dark) They have no idea were coming*pause*The time to strike is now!
(Amused, flattering) What is a beautiful mare like yourself doing out in the woods? If i didn't know better i'd say your up to something?
The servant and best friend of Charlotte Eyanzer. Alya is a very optomisitc mare, and has always kept Charlottes head up when she was feeling down. Alya is always out-going and happy even though her past is a sad one. Her whole village was burned down in war. Her mother was killed in front of her as a fold and her father was enslaved, but has gone missing after the war ended.
(confused, slightly angered ) Why? Why would he do something like that? This is going to thrown our kingdom into war
(worried, confused) I don't know what to do! What should we do, if i don't give them what they want, they'll declare war on us
