Next Top Singer 2021 - Season 8

Project Overview

Next Top Singer (previously "YouTube Idol") is a singing competition with 7 completed seasons so far. We start with casting episodes where the 3 judges comment and vote yes or no on the auditions. Then the accepted contestants compete with different themes in each round - even a group theme! Each contestant gets honest feedback every round. Contestants are eliminated in each round until the winner remains.

We get better and better each season which I'm really proud of!

Since season 5 we have had "live" deliberations so you can actually hear how the judges argue and get to the decision and see individual votes. Since the 2019 season there's a money prize. The winner of the 2021 season will get $250 (see prize sponsors in the trailer).

How to audition:

Please read "Rules for first auditions". I recommend that you read all of the rules though, except rules for judges. Then audition via here, email or Discord.

DEADLINE: Apr 30. In case CCC changes it again. It has always been Apr 30. The competition starts in June.

    This is the last week to audition! Auditions close April 30th. If CCC closes earlier, auditions are still open via email, BTVA and Discord until the very end of the day. ***WARNING!*** If your audition is not complete, it will NOT be used in the videos. You will miss getting feedback and being scored. So please check your audition again to make sure you didn't miss anything. If I only replied "thank you" without an additional comment, that means your audition is complete. You need to complete your audition by the deadline.
