Project Overview

Help me achieve my dream of turning my Naruto fanfiction into a Webtoon! 

This is a fanfiction revolving around the Naruto ship, SasuSaku, and the blank period of their lives together after the Fourth Ninja War.

WHO DO I NEED?
I'm in high demand for lineart and drafting artists! I'm capable of sorting out the text, dialogue, storyboarding, and coloring on my own. I'm willing to pay more for those two artists in particular.

I intend for this project to only be a Webtoon project, so I only need artists. The story's already written out and the characters are already sorted out. I only need a few artists to help me out! 

I, too, am an artist, but not the best digital artist. I have some references for what some of the minor characters might look like but I need some more official artists to help make this possible. 

REQUIREMENTS
I will be looking out for particular art styles and some knowledge of basic drawing concepts. When applying for the position, I'll require a link to some of your art. Even if the art styles aren't similar to the Naruto franchise, the characters must be recognizable and the art style must be consistent throughout.

Also must be familiar with the Naruto franchise and/or the SasuSaku ship itself. 

Following the artwork submission process for the audition, I will require anyone before being considered to submit some sample artwork of a few characters and/or scenes I send in reply, just so I get a feel of how your style works as well as if you're capable of drawing the characters I need. If I'm satisfied with your work, then we can move forward from there. 

PAY
I'm willing to pay depending on how long the webcomic will be, how advanced the artwork is, and how much you're willing to work for. Minimum pay amount is guaranteed $5 a chapter minimum. (the fanfiction has 40 chapters but will be summed down to less)

  • Final Requirement for Auditioning

    In addition to submitting an audition form, if you're considered, I'll send you a link or two to some characters and a scene from my book. I'd like you to do either a quick sketch (for artists) or a basic re-write (for storyboarders/writers) of the scenes and/or characters just so I could see what it would look like in your style or how you comprehend the story. If you have any questions, let me know! FOR ARTISTS: Style does NOT have to be like Naruto. I would like to see the scene in comic book format (on a grid of any sort). It doesn't have to be finalized and colored (unless you want to), just a draft of a scene from something like a comic book will do. FOR WRITERS/STORYBOARDERS: I only need to see a rough draft of dialogue if you were to take that scene and turn it into a comic in addition to character actions or blockings. If you don't understand what I mean, send me a message and I'll explain in a way that's more suitable for you and the role you want!

  • Change in Pay Rates/Requirements

    I've added a minor adjustment to the requirements as well as to the pay rates (to make a bit more sense). - Requirement added is familiarity with the Naruto franchise and/or the ship SasuSaku. - The pay rates have been changed to be, instead of a one-time payment, it will be by chapter. The minimum pay per chapter is now $5 unless further discussed or negotiated. If you have any questions or thoughts about that, let me know!

This artist does the black and white lineart for the project. This process follows the drafting process.

This artist is in charge of drafting, lineart, and coloring, just like the main artist. However, they will not be responsible for storyboarding, dialogue text, or putting the webcomic chapters together.

HIGH demand.

Becuase I could use this role more than the others, the pay for this is four times the minimum/usual pay.

I can be more negotiable with pay for THIS role. $5 per chapter is still the minimum pay.

This artist does the black and white drafting for the project. This process is later followed by the lineart role.

The main artist takes care of every aspect of the project: drafting, lineart, storyboarding, etc. This role will only be filled if we have no other artists on the project. 

Because this role includes all necessary roles for the project, this pay is four times the minimum/usual pay.

Not in high demand, but if there are any revisions that need to be made to my fanfiction, I'm open to paying for someone to revise my fanfiction and improve it to a better plot and storyline, also to make things easier on the artists.
