Project Overview
Beyond the Seas: The Cursed Eye, will be the first season of what we hope an amazing minecraft series about Bobby Heart, a farmers kid, who lives on the Island of Flemwin, but have always dreamed to become a pirate. Together with his friend Hutch Webber he embarks on a great adventure. On his adventure he meets various people, good and evil. He will also meet Captain Eldar Heartless, the bad guy of the story. A man who became evil because of a cursed eyepatch, and the main story will be about this eyepatch, hands the title: 'The Cursed Eye'
At the moment I am still writing the script, but the first few episodes are done, so I know where the story will go. When you join me I ask you one thing: Be patient, because this project is not something I have done in a few days or weeks, it will take time.

Bobby is our main character. He lives on the farm with his mother and sister. He never knew his father, because his father left home to travel overseas. Bobby never had the possibility to leave the island of Flemwin, because his mother always told him that it's dangerous when you leave the borders of Flemwin.

(resolute) Perhaps, Mother, but I can't ignore this burning desire within me. The tales of pirates and their daring escapades, the treasures they seek... It stirs something in my soul. I want to be part of something greater, to make my mark on the world.
(agreeing) Stories have the ability to transport us, to ignite our imaginations, and unite us under a shared experience. The stories take us with the captain on daring escapades.
(Excited) Imagine, Hutch. Sailing the seas, exploring uncharted lands, and facing challenges alongside Captain Goldenwind.
Mrs. Heart is Bobby's mother. Her husband left her when she was pregnant with Bobby, he wanted to travel overseas, but he never returned. She is very busy with the farm her husband left her. She is doing everything she can to make ends meet to feed her son and daughter, every day.

(convincing with seriousness) Oh, my dear Bobby, the life we have here may be simple, but it's filled with love and contentment. You don’t have to look what lies beyond. Your place is here with us.
(worry evident in her voice) Hold on a moment! I understand the allure of adventure, but we've already suffered the loss of Bobby's father to the sea. I won't risk losing my only son too.
(tearfully) My boys, you have my blessing. Follow your dreams, explore the world, but never forget to return home to me, no matter what. Take care of each other, just as your fathers once did.
The younger sister of Bobby and the daughter of Alice. An enthusiastic little girl who loves to help her mother with the farm.

(cautioning) Bobby, remember, we're just farmers. We can't fight against the king's knights.
(excitedly) Just imagine, Mother! Hutch and Bobby, journeying together, forging their own legends upon the sea. It's like something out of a storybook!
Hutch is the blacksmith apprentice in Flemwin. Hutch is Bobby's best friend and thus knows him well. But the last few years Hutch is too busy learning to be a blacksmith thanks to his uncle. He knows how to make weapons and also owns some, which might come in handy later.

(Enthousiastic) The stories are true, Bobby. He stood tall and fierce, with his crew by his side, and the Golden Crosswind, his ship, anchored behind him. It was like a scene out of a tale!
(Amazed) It's remarkable how Captain Goldenwind's tales bring people from all walks of life together. The power of storytelling is truly extraordinary.
(softly) We're here for you, Bobby. We'll always be by your side, just like your father would have wanted.
Edwin is the blacksmith of Flemwin. He is a well known old man who chose to be a blacksmith to the end of his days. Edwin is the uncle of Hutch.

(sympathetically) I know it's hard, Bobby. But never lose hope. Your father was a strong man, and he wouldn't want you to give up. Someday, we might find him or learn what happened to him.
I know… I miss him too. Your father was taken from us too soon. But he lives on in you, Bobby. You have his spirit, his strength. He'd be proud of the young man you're becoming.
(pensively) Remember, lads, a true legend isn't measured by the treasures they amass, but by the hearts they touch along the way. Your father knew that well. But enough reminiscing of the past, it is late, you should go to your mother Bobby. And Hutch, you should go to bed.
Captain Goldenwind is one of the most known pirate captains there is. He is the captain of the Golden crosswind with a gang of Pirates, with his right hand man Wesley Wilkinson. Not the brightest of men in the crew, but he keeps the captain together.

(nods, his voice filled with admiration) Aye, Captain. And what a journey it was. The plunder we amassed would make even the most legendary pirates envious. We raided merchant ships, liberated treasures, and earned our reputation as the best known pirates to sail these waters.
(Cautious) You're taking quite a gamble, Captain. They're just boys. They may not be prepared for the dangers that await them at sea.
(taking a deep breath) Ah, the artifact... It's said to possess unimaginable power, capable of harnessing the forces of nature. Legends speak of its ability to control the winds, the waves, and even the fury of thunderstorms. But it's just a myth, a tale passed down through generations of sailors.
The bad guy in this story. Captain Heartless is a grumpy man, the leader of the Heartless pirates on The Sunken Ruby. He possesses over a huge amount of power. The power he has is due to his cursed eyepatch.

(voice dripping with malice) Ah, the open sea, Jerry! The perfect canvas for my wicked deeds. The world will tremble before the might of Captain Eldar Heartless!
(Captain Heartless places a hand on Jerry's shoulder, leaning in close to whisper his nefarious plan.) (whispering) Listen well, Jerry. We shall capture one of Goldenwind's crew, a friend so dear to him that he would trade anything to see them returned safely. With this leverage, we shall force Goldenwind to surrender the maps willingly.
The drunk bad sidekick of Captain Heartless. Not too bright, pretty dumb, and almost every task he gets he fails at. The crew also calls him drunk Joe.

(eager) What be his weakness, Captain? Does he fear the sight of a kraken or tremble at the sound of a cannon's roar?
(Drunk as he is he sings a pirate shanty) <-- Sing a pirate Shanty while sounding drunk
Harrold is the owner of the tavern in Flemwin. A wise man who knows everyone in the village.

Legend has it that Eldar found that cursed eyepatch deep in the heart of a forgotten tomb. They say it grants him unnatural abilities, but at a great cost. It has turned him into a ruthless and heartless man, hence the name. He's become a symbol of fear and chaos on the high seas.
Roles that don't frequently appear in the series, but have some text in the script are extra's.
Courier: I don’t know, I never look at other one’s packages. My job is to deliver, not to peek inside the packages.
Knight 1: We shall discuss this with the king. But remember, defiance comes with a price.
Townsperson 1: (Cheering) Hail Captain Goldenwind! The scourge of the seas, the terror of tyrants!
