Project Overview

Welcome to the Mysterious Mystery Casting call club page!! Very excited to announce that from 4/17 to 5/1 you'll be able to audition for some major roles in the upcoming video game!


So you might have a few questions of course and I'm here to answer them!


So firstly, What is Mysterious Mystery?


Well Mysterious Mystery is a visual novel type video game where you collect evidence and cross examine witness in order to battle them in logic battles to figure out the truth!


It's a very comedic approach to the typical murder mystery you might normally see, though in this case, there's more to the story.


See this is the 2nd chapter in mysterious Mystery "saga". The original came out last year back when I was just figuring out how to make games. Looking back for my first game I think it's okay, but I want to make it even better than before! You can check out chapter 1 and play it with the video link above. (I do warn, It not the quality of which I hold myself to today.) I want to make the sequel much better, and one of those ways is voice acting! People loved it in the first game so it's returning, don't worry, because you don't need to know anything about the first chapter to fully enjoy/work this one!


Some of these characters appear more than others, but all have decently sized roles. If you want a smaller one check out the extras roles! 

Each character is listed by how often they appear/how many lines they will have. Higher = More lines, lower = less lines, etc. 


You can do as many takes as you want, and you can also try out for as many characters as you want, but with very few exceptions, you will only receive one role. The exception is of course extra voices which are not taken into account.


About pay: You will get paid! I promise that! It's just matter of how much I can give you, You will receive your money by the latest 5/31. You will be contacted before then if there are any issues with this. You will receive at the very least $5 min. with no max., just depends on how successful the game is. As a high school student, I don't have infinite money, but I am extremely grateful for your time and services and you deserve it! Also note: All roles except for extras, will all receive the same pay, so don't worry about having to go for better paying roles. 


Please leave your email, discord or other easy to contact links on your audition so I can contact you! 


If you don't get a part, it's okay, becuase it's not about your skill or voice, just how well the character fits. I also will have more characters to voice in future projects that I might just save for you, you never know!

  • Actors choosen!

    Hello every one, sorry if it took a minute, I was having a hard time figuring out which person to pick for what role as there was a lot of talent! I'd rather it be tough to choose then too easy but that said, those who were choosen should be emailed/contacted as soon as I can. If you did not receive a role please understand it has nothing to do with your skill or hardware! I keep you guys in mind when I need new roles filled, that said, there were lot of people I would've loved to hire, but there's only so many roles ya know? That said, thank you so much for everyone who auditioned and for those who got roles I'll see ya soon :)

  • Deadline is here! Now choosing actors

    Hello everyone! If your seeing this that means the deadline has been reached and as of now no longer accepting any more auditions. There are a lot to go through, and I've already heard a few, and you guys don't make this easy! Dakota is one of the 2 main detectives in Mysterious Mystery. He's a fun loving guy who loves solving mysteries with his best friend, Justin. He's very excitable too, but at the end of the day, when things get serious he seeks to find the truth. Though sometimes, it's a little difficult for him when it's rumored he has the brain of a monkey.

  • Justin! Dude! Can you believe we got an invitation to be on the Melburg Express! Usually I just get left behind and you go on vacation without me.

  • Okay Dakota, this your chance, use that new thing Justin taught you, "Logic" if I remember correctly. If I use that, I may be able to figure out what really happened.

  • Hey! We don't pick low hanging fruit. We pick up the fruit that was already on the ground. That was I don't have to get a ladder.

Nora Chambers is a 18 year old high schooler who was so intelligent she was able to become a prosecutor, not many people have such a title at such a young age but Nora likes to let people know. Sadly with the success came boredom for Nora as she switched careers to be more hands on with detective work. Nora usually is able to figure out what happened at a crime scene in about 5 minutes. While doing so she brags about herself and how smart she is. No one could even come close to rivaling her, until one day

  • Hello detectives. I have some good news. You're services will no longer be needed, becuase I, Nora Chambers, will solve this mystery faster than the 3 of you can even with my eyes closed, haha. So just run along before you all get yourselves hurt.

  • look, four eyes! The victim couldn't have left at 6:50, because she was in the dining car until 7! You really need to get your facts straight before trying to outsmart me!

  • What?! I haven't seen that evidence! There's no way I would overlook something so simple, your trying to mess with me aren't you!

Dani is an interesting specimen, she's the daughter of one of the richest families in all of Sweden. Her sister took over her family's business and Dani, is very supportive of her sister and her career to the point she makes a point to always ride the Melburg express when she has to travel. She's pretty upbeat and has a positive and is always does what she can to help solve the mystery in any way she can. 

  • Hi! It's so nice to meet you, I'm Danielle (Dan-yell), but everyone just calls me Dani, thank you so much for traveling on my sister's train, she'll be so happy to hear about this!

  • We've been very lucky to have a mother who taught us the ropes of how to run a business. Because of that, we've never had to worry about money for most of our lives, laughs*

Amy stake being on this train was by no means a mistake! This thespian will sing, cry, and dance away all her worries and soothe the audience of any worry about a potential murder one the train. She will give you what you need, as long as your willing to listen to her unending monologues. 

  • To be or not to be, to fly or not to fly, to roly-poly or not to roly-poly! These are all the questions we all need to ask.

  • Oh yes, I remember like it was 20 minutes ago...and that MAY be because it WAS 20 minutes ago, but the vision is so clear. Like looking through the thinnest piece of glass, I remember it perfectly!

  • I was in my room when I heard a commotion from outside. I was practicing for my next audition, yes I was, when suddenly I heard a gasp for air! Whoever that person may be, the will no longer be seeking it.

This is Train Conductor, yes his name is Train conductor, he works as one becuase of his name. He likes living quiety at the front of the train and doesn't want to be bothered. While the mystery one the train occurs he tries his best to be left alone. 

  • Oh, why yes, I'm the train conductor, the name is train conductor, at your service sir and madam!

  • Why yes sir, I do believe I have some important buisness to attend to, I do wish you'd find the killer soon, or this will look very bad for the express's buisness ventures...

  • I'm terribley sorry sir but I'm going to have to ask you to leave me alone once you have finished your inquiry with me. I'm not one for mysteries personally.

Scott Andrew is an employee on the Melburg express, he tries his hardest to get the job done and please his boss but sometimes he gets freaked out when under pressure. He also may or may not have a crush on the owner of the train

  • I remember I was working back here when the lights went off, and when they came back on her body was right there and I screamed!

  • I'm being honest! I didn't hurt anyone, in fact, i wouldn't even know how to. Please, you got to believe me!

  • Okay, okay, okay...I didn't want to admit this, but, I'm...I'm in love with her, and I wrote that letter to her because she means a lot to me.

Not ready for a major role? Don't have a lot of time, got you covered! The extras role are for, well extras! These characters have 1 to 2 lines tops! In addition, you can do any voice you want! I love giving people the opportunity to try to be in my projects no matter the experience or skill! (Note: Some extras may even receive small parts depending on their audition)

  • There's a murderer on the train? That's it, I knew I should've booked a plane instead. Dang scalpers...

  • I can't see, the lights are off! Please, someone turn them back on! My eyes will go blind!...Wait, is that how that works?

  • This train is very nice! I mean, I had to sell 3 organs and my child college fund but it was worth it to get these economy seats!
