My Pride Voice Actors - (Fully casted + closed)
Project Overview
My Pride is a project (one that I'll probably change the name of) that I've had the idea of for around a year. I already have a discord server with it, but I'm going to further promote it with Casting Call Club! I am excited to have you on my team. Also, just know that this project contains heavy LGBTQ+ themes, so if your religion doesn't support that or you don't want to be associated with this kind of content, I respect that! Therefore, if you are any the things stated before, please find another project. Good luck!
Rules:
-Try to be dedicated to your part. Otherwise, your understudy will take your place.
-This series will contain some swearing (especially if a character's swear status is medium to minimal). If you get casted as a character who swears from minimal to none, you don't have to swear if you aren't comfortable with that!
-You don't have to have a professional mic! However, try not to have much background noise.
-PLEASE have Discord. This way, I can contact you easily. My Discord is: Official.Abhilesh!#5236 . If you are having trouble contacting it, message it to me or reply someone on one of your auditions. There, I can think of a solution.
Permissions:
-You are allowed to restate lines in different tones and pitches.
-You may use an audition from the past if you think it might fit a character. Demo reels are also allowed!
-You may add small changes to your voice/audio (reverb, pop filter, background noise removal), however, do not use a voice changer.

This is Benjamin, the main character of this project! I intend his voice to be more medium-high or high, but still recognizably male (although this might not be the same when casting). He is also pansexual.
Swearing status: Minimal to none
[After bumping into someone] AAH! Uh, sorry! D-do you happen to know where Geometry is?
(Awkward) I mean… There’s really nothing wrong about that…

This is Jordyn, who supports the plot of this story to an extent. She is more tomboy-ish lesbian (and ginger, so that's pretty cool lol). I intend her voice to be on the lower side but still casual since she is more of a laid back character.
Swear status: Normal to minimum
[Firm] Have empathy for him, Henry. He's still new and didn't know that.
[Relaxed] Ey man, you okay?
[The slightest bit nervous] Okay. How about we both say it in 3... 2... 1... [Pause] I'm lesbian!...
(Please trust me, he gets the best character arc of the century) This is Henry, the sort of jerk of the story. However, he is further explored as a character as the series progresses. I intend his voice to be medium or maybe even low, but masculine nonetheless.

(Mocking) And plus, he has all this weird stuff. I doubt that he’s straight.
(Teasing rudely) Awww, 'you like him or something?
The mean girl of the story. She is very "girly" and snobby. However, on the inside, she is a much better person who discovers herself with the help of Jordyn and Benjamin. I intend her voice to be bratty and preferably medium or high.

Falisha is a transgender female who transitions as the plot goes. She is a victim of trauma (S/A), so if you don't feel comfortable with that, I advise you don't audition for her. I am okay with her voice being feminine, masculine, or androgynous, though I prefer it to be gentle, somewhat low, and warm.

Rome is a well-known celebrity and overall a man with a good reputation. However, he actually cares a lot about his reputation even to the point of using others. At one point, he even comes off as homophobic and this takes a hit to his popularity. However, eventually, he learns from his mistakes and makes everything up again.

Juniper is a middle-aged homosexual/lesbian woman who is laid back and caring. She is a vocalist for a small band and struggles with making money. Her voice should be motherly and from a medium to low range.

(Normal, with the slightest hint of amusement) I've been doing excellently. How about you, Desdemona?
(Laughs) Loosen up, 'Mona. Gosh, I remember when you were young, but now you're so stuck up! I remember when you were SOOOOO boy crazy.
(Frantic, trying to be calm) N-no, please don't! I-I promise I will!
Desdemona, or Benjamin's mom, is a strict middle-aged woman. I intend her voice to be mature and cold, whether high or low. (If you can't do mature, just do cold.)

This writing role is meant for people who are able to lay out sequence of events, preferably with a few details. Example (sequence of events):
Blair goes to a store with Aspen. The music is extremely loud, which bothers Blair.
Right as Aspen goes to check out a notebook, Serilda appears out of nowhere and starts screaming the lyrics to the song. Aspen covers their ears in pain.
In rage, Blair goes to the cashier and immediately asks the cashier where the manager is. She is absolutely in fury by how some people can be so disruptive.
