SYPNOSIS
" My Oniichan Isn't a Bunny Girl VTuber with Over 1M Followers!" is an original story about Sachi, a 15-year-old girl who’s shocked to learn that her family dynamic has changed when her father reveals he had an affair years ago, resulting in the sudden introduction of an older brother, Yuuma.

A year older than Sachi, Yuuma has become a reclusive shut-in due to the complexities of their family situation. Eager to connect with her new brother, Sachi discovers something unexpected—Yuuma is not just any ordinary person, but a highly popular female VTuber with over 1 million followers.

This is a tale of family, identity, drama, and the search for connection, as Sachi navigates the complexities of her evolving relationship with her brother and her own understanding of who they truly are.

I'm Hina, the creator of this visual novel and am seeking a talented artist to design the character sprites. I am eager to collaborate with someone who shares a passion for storytelling and visual novels. Together, we will work closely to develop and refine the characters' designs. The project timeline for completing all sprites is approximately 3 months.

  • Hiring Extra Artists and Deadline in 2 Days

    Thanks to everyone who has applied! I've been thoroughly going through all of your portfolios. It's so hard to just pick one artist, you're all very talented! T_T) Thankfully, it sparked an idea within me! There will be 3 vtubers in the story so it only makes sense that they have different art right? I'd like to differentiate the game art and the vtuber art. But don't worry! Sprites will still be $15, but the lead artist will have less work and the vtuber PNG's will be delegated to 2-3 other artists.

    For those who are following and have not yet applied, deadlines are ending soon in just TWO days. If you haven't already, please apply before then! Just to reiterate, total payment for Lead Artist will be a minimum of $150USD.

    Payment for PNG sprites with its inclusion of 3-5 expressions is $15 per character. For each outfit I'll pay an additional $5.

  • Deadline in a Week

    Thank you all who have submitted your portfolios! TBH, I didn't realize the amount of art bots on this site. Just when I thought I escaped them from twitter I can never escape it lol.

    Anyway, deadlines will be coming up in a week! For those who are following but haven't submitted yet, please do so as soon as possible. I will no longer accept auditions after the date. I've also thought about starting a kickstarter for the VA so I'll post a link sometime soon!

    Update: I'll make a kickstarter after auditions so it'll be easier to promote when there's already work drawn. :D

    Wow, I'm surprised with the amount of people interested in my project. Thanks for following! I'm so excited for it too!

    Just wanted to give an update and clarify that the art style for this project is a shoujo styled anime art and we will be using half body (above the knees). I'm looking for art similar to Dokidoki Literature Club, Flyable Heart, and Katawa Shoujo! Of course I'm open to all unique art styles. :) Please check the link below for reference. Thanks!!

    Wow! Thanks for the amount of submissions so suddenly. I'm glad people are interested in my project. Just wanted to update on more details about the project as some people have asked me.

    - I updated the character count of sprites from 12 to 13. So now the current price is $195. There's a possibility that it will be higher than that. Some characters like Yuuma and Sachi will have 2 extra outfits. I'll pay an extra $5 for each outfit.
    - The game will be built with tyranobuilder. All backgrounds and other assets used for the game will be from commercial-free resources.
    - I will require sprites to have a base so that it will be easy to attach their clothes layers on top. Pixels of the sprite is 2000-2800.
    - CG's are not included in this role. I will most likely hire someone else to take over for the CG's.
    - This is for commercial-use. The characters belong to me but the design of the characters and credits will of course go to the artist. :)
    - I've made character boards for each characters and their outfits/designs, so the lead artist will work with that, I like to give artists some freedom so the character boards are more like templates for the artist to go off from
    - For the art, I'm not looking for anything too detailed for the sprites. I'm perfectly fine with cell shading! I'm an artist myself for many years with both hobby and freelance experience, so I have a general idea of how the drawing/art process goes. I'm still deciding if I want to do half-body or full-bodied sprites at the moment.
    - Everyone hired for this project will sign a simple contract via google form confirming that they agree to the terms and conditions and agreed payments. Terms and conditions mainly entail the commercial use for the sprites/character voices.
    - I'm in the early stages of writing the script! The estimated completion of this project may be at the end of the year.
    - I will open auditions for voice actors after the script is fully written. Voice actors are unpaid. (SORRY T_T)

    I'm just a gorl with a dream. This is a self-funded project so as much as I'd love to pay you with my kidneys I can only provide what I can. T_T

As the Lead Artist, you will be responsible for creating a set of 10 Anime-style PNG sprites, with the possibility of additional sprites in the future (compensation will be provided for any extra work). Each sprite will include 3-5 distinct expressions. The scope of work for each sprite may vary based on its significance to the story.

The minimum payment for each sprite will be $15. The total payment for all sprites is $150. In this role, you will collaborate closely with me throughout the creative process to ensure the visual direction aligns with the project’s vision. You will be given 3 months or so to complete all sprites.
