Project Overview
The MIdnight Crew needs your help in bringing our new series, My Life as a Teenage Alchemist, to life! If you're interested in working with us on a fun, casual take on FMAB, look no further! Rather than traditionally abridge this show, we’re gonna hop around the timeline and look at different scenarios throughout! The Crew wants this to be fun collaborative project with VAs across the community, so audition today!

Have fun! This is a fun, more light-hearted series, so feel free to improv if you know the characters already.
NOTE: If you’ve seen the show already it helps a LOT. I highly recommend it not just for the casting call, but in general.

Winry is Edward and Alphonse’s automail mechanic, but she’s also their childhood friend and someone who’s helped them through their toughest times. She’d give an arm and a leg for those brothers to get their bodies back. Well, she DID give Ed an arm and a leg. Just not hers.
Character Type: Hard-Working, Empathetic, Total Nerd for Automail, Huge Temper, Snarky
Vocal Range: Female voice with Low-Medium to Low-High Pitch.
(Furious) Ed, if you break your automail ONE MORE TIME, your next maintenance session will be for your skull!
(Worried) If something happened to you two, not only would I lose my only customers. I’d lose the only family I’ve got left.
(Excited) OH MY GOD! (Really fast) Please show me your arm it’ll only be a second! I just need to inspect the fine craftsmanship!
Riza Hawkeye is a sharpshooter, loyal soldier, and close ally to Roy Mustang. Even though she’s his bodyguard, the two are equals in both wit and skill. She’ll do anything to get the job done, but behind that serious exterior is someone who cares deeply for her friends and allies, and won’t stop at anything to help Mustang become the next Fuhrer. She also loves dogs.
Character Type: Determined/Focused,Stoic, Caring, but not in a soft way?
Vocal Range: Female voice with Medium-Low to Medium Pitch.
(Disappointed) I would spit on you for being so incompetent, but I know how useless you are when you’re wet.
(Nervous) To think that some little brat would get the jump on me. I don’t know whether to be petrified or laugh at my own failure.
(Determined) I will NOT stand by and watch the man who will make Amestrus great again give in to the will of lesser men! Now stand up and fight, Mustang!
Mei (or May, if you’re not from Xing) is a rising Princess and master of Alcahestry. Her role as the breadinner of the Chang family has made her grow up a bit too fast. Still, she’s just a kid, but with her cute panda Xiao-Mei (who you’ll also voice) by her side, she’ll do anything to impress the Fullmetal Alchemist’s younger brother.
Character Type: Brave, Intuitive, Kind, Empathetic, Childish
Vocal Range: Female voice with High-Medium to High Pitch.
(Excited) Oh, Al-sama! I’m so happy to see you! I’ve been tracking you for over a week and I haven’t slept in days!
(Bratty, but also tough) Hey! Just because I’m a kid doesn’t mean I can’t kick your ass!
(Disappointed) You can’t just leave me behind! It’s not fair!
Pride is the oldest homunculus, as they were the first deadly sin of man removed from The Dwarf in the Flask in his search for perfection and knowledge. A total jerk, Pride will stop at nothing to please their Father, and will be the least humble thing in the world while doing so.
Character Type: Arrogant, Slow to Anger, Childish, Holier-Than-Thou
Vocal Range: Female or Male voice with High-Medium to High Pitch.
(Smug) I may be small, but when it comes to power; I have it all.
(Slightly Agitated) Oh, I’m sorry. Who was it that pulled your fat ass out of the fire again? It was me!
(On the verge of screaming) I AM NOT BABY! I’M THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY YEARS OLD!
Envy is, in a sense, a VERY aggressive tsundere. Not in the cute way, Envy is constantly jealous of their peers and will deny it at every angle. They’re also manipulative, cruel, heartless, and not afraid to fight dirty or swing below the belt.
Character Type: Cocky, Childish, Manipulative, Short Tempered
Vocal Range: Female or Male voice with Medium to Medium-High Pitch.
(Mocking) So, it looks like you found yourself in a tough spot. Too bad! I only help WINNERS!
(Disgusted and Agitated) You’ve got a lot of nerve looking at me, let alone speaking to me like that, human.
(Maniacal) Your entire life is a mistake! I’d laugh if it wasn’t so pathetic! Oh, the hell with it. *Laugh as if you’re laughing at actual garbage*
