Sailor Moon Volume 1: Fandub Auditions
Project Overview
Hello! This project will be a fandub of the popular anime/manga, Sailor Moon. This will follow the Pretty Guardian manga. Not all guardians will be included at first as this is only Volume 1, if this becomes a running project the future volumes will be made as well.
I am looking for a variety of voices. From high pitched to deep, I can bet we have one for you. Please make sure your microphone doesn't have background noise or if it does, please state why and if that will be fixable for future notices. Being loud will also be included at times as a lot of characters yell.
If characters aren't casted, their original voice from the anime will most likely be used. Please include a discord or some form of social media for me to contact you if your part is chosen.
My deadline is flexible, if you cannot make it before deadline, please let me know and we can contact elsewhere! This is for fun so do not stress
Voice Actor
Usagi is a young, cheerful girl. She is very clumsy but strong when she needs to be so i'm looking for a voice with good range. Preferably higher pitched and being able to make sounds like "Ah!". Her voice will still be at the same pitch when she's Sailor Moon but be able to go from that clumsy young girl to a hero who saves people. She is also considered a crybaby so be able to make crying sounds/ a whiny voice.

Tee hee hee, This is the guy who works at the Game Center. He's good looking and nice! I sort of have my eye on him. *sigh of content/love*
*realization* And you awakened us? That means... Luna...
Voice Actor
Luna acts as a type of guardian for them. She explains a lot about the crystals and being a guardian so more of a mature voice would be lovely. She scolds Usagi quite a bit so being able to do that would be perfect!
*stern* You have a duty, you know! To gather your allies and defeat your enemies.
It isn't a bald spot! Don't be rude!
*cautious* We really have no idea who he is. So maybe try to avoid him...
Voice Actor
Being a mother, mature voices would be best. A comforting voice that's willing to bend to a scolding/almost yelling voice would be nice as well. She doesn't appear very much.
*scolding Usagi* If you're going to bring in this kind of grade then don't even bother coming home!
*exhausted from Usagi banging on door* Okay okay!! Get in here..
*cheery* I hear he got a 95% on his test! What did you get on yours, Usagi?
Voice Actor
He is a little younger than Usagi so younger voice for him. He is only in 2 or so scenes but he seems very monotone in them. Flat voices would be nice.
*annoyed* What do you think you're doing, dumb bunny!
*teasing* I want a big sister who can actually do school work!

Mamoru is Usagi's lover later on, the two will have a lot of lines together (no kissing/romance involved yet). He is quite calm and composed. his voice is quite deep, but it goes up in pitch when he's angry. A mature male voice would be perfect!
Well I didn't find the Legendary Silver Crystal but I found something more interesting..
*agitated/annoyed* Hey! I'm not a trash can, you know! You bun-head!

Ami is Sailor Mercury. She is known to be Usagi's friend so she's quite cheerful. Any voice would work but we need her to have a tired sounding one when we get to the party where she's being brainwashed while studying.
That cat suddenly came out of the sky! I thought it might be an angel.

Voice Actor
Makoto is Sailor Jupiter, she comes later in the volume but is pretty important. She doesn't have a huge amount of lines. Her voice is very flexible, just do what you would like!

I can still picture that mannequin on the balcony ready to jump off...

Rei is a very mature girl who works at a shrine. A monetone, slightly more adultish voice.
Usagi-Chan is in danger..?! And I have a bad feeling about this..

He is first introduced when Usagi goes to the Game Center. He needs a warm, comforting male voice

*showing Usagi how to play* The Sailor V action game? There! Do it now. If you don't move, you'll lose quick.

Audition with whatever line you like. Multiple People will be casted so If I Reply, "You got the role" you're one of them! This includes all the villains from the first volume :)
*feminine voice* Right now, your mother is in the basement dead from starvation..
*masculine voice* I must in the near future, get my hands on the Legendary Silver Crystal
*feminine* ha ha. I, Nephrite, will claim the secret treasure and these people as sacrifices to our great ruler!

Any background or very minor characters will be casted here. Same situation as before, audition with the lines u want and ill reply to u if u got it since I can't cast multiple people here
*masculine* I didn't try as hard on this test as usual.. Tests are just a game.., just a game

*any* rumor says she doesn't have any friends, she spends all her time studying
