Project Overview
Welcome to Musical Mayhem, my YouTube object show! If you don't know what an object show is, it's basically a bunch of inanimate objects battling for a prize, which in my case is a vacation spot. Each episode will have unique challenges and by the end, one of the two teams will be up for elimination and one of these contestants will be out in a temporary holding cell. All of the contestants and host is what you guys will be auditioning for! But this is also a musical, so I song is part of the requirement. For each audition, I have provided a link to two songs, you have to do one. If you're male or have a lower voice, you'll sing Bows part in Afterlife In The Limelight, if you're a female or have a higher range, you'll sing Tacos Tirade. How much if it you sing is up to you, but just give enough so I'm able to judge properly. I've given the original, but there are plenty of instrumentals to use on YouTube. Whatever character voice you choose for the character, use that voice to sing the song as. If you are auditioning for multiple, you only have to sing the song once. Choose one character and out it on there, I will be checking every audition and will find it. If you would like, you can also submit via my discord Olivertunearts. The pay will be per episode. I just put down a rate since it doesn't really allow a typed custom one. What it says on the character might not be what it is. For most 20 is just the flat rate for the episode, it won't go any lower, that's for the characters that may not have many lines. For those that do, the payment might be higher depending on how much work will go into getting the lines in. It will also change over time. I'm hoping to get the VAs a higher pay, but it will also be different for each character per episode. Some will be in it more than others, but if some characters talk more than others in one episode, it will be other characters who talk more in the next to make it fair.
Each episode will typically be around 15-20 minutes. The later episodes will probably be longer. The first episode is more on the 20, but will probably balance out to 15 minutes until more complex challenges
For recording, since I can't have the people actually in person, everyone will have live recordings. I will be making a set schedule more all of the cast to record with me and one of my mods on a call. People with shorter lines will be moved on the same day, and people with more lines would be the recording for the day.
This project is intended for more of the preteen teenager range, so while there might be some deeper subjects, it is not explicit, and there would be very little profanity. If anything, its the comical cut off of swear words.

The life of the party and always cheery. Loves planning events, parties, and celebrations and always has every big event marked down. She also has every contestants birthdays marked down (don't ask how she knows) Torch is her best friend and always tries to cheer him up since he seems grumpy all the time. Though if things get too much, she can be overstimulated. Voice is high and full of energy and young sounding. Closer to a preteen than an actual adult despite being one.

has a very short fuse and can blow up at the smallest of things. This can also cause his fire to rise. Most of the time he seems annoyed and often picks unnecessary fights. Calendar is about the only one who can calm him down. He acts quite differently when his torch is out. He's not as angry and more dull, rational, and cooled off though it makes him weaker. Voice is more up for interpretation! While sculpting out a personality, I've never thought about what he could sound like. I kind of based him on Paintbrush if that helps

A world class chef and trained in martial arts. She may seem like someone easy to mess with, but she is not. She does things calmly with enough force to knock someone out. She's not a fan of bullying and is willing to stand up for others. Her voice is very monotone and no one has seen her show many hints of emotion, even when there are behind her intentions.

Quite rude and sarcastic, and probably one of the most unlikeable team members personality wise. However, he's slick and knows how to play his cards. He is efficient and knows how to get things done, and if not being bothered or annoyed, can make a good team leader. He thinks most of the people in his team are dumb, but knows better than to owardly say it, but his looks say it all. He is able to unroll himself and generate maps, though people can also just do it to annoy him. His voice is mid to high, raspy and nasally

A quiet and seemingly shy individual, but she's not afraid to talk, especially once she gets to know someone. She's kind and caring person, but sometimes struggles to get the point across. Because of her quiet nature, she is often misheard or not heard at all. She's also sensitive to loud noises. Her voice is very quite, soft spoken, and light tone.

Vee is female, Codin is male.
They are both male and female. The white side is female and the red side is male. They have the typical sibling dynamic and arguments, but still love each other nonetheles. They try their best to work together and share each others thoughts to get a more open view. They are both experienced in the medical field and will do anything to keep their teammates safe. While they have similar personalities, Vee is more calm and rational, while Codin is more to stand his ground.

Doesn't like getting involved in things. Its not that he doesn't want to help, he's just unsure if he will be able to and scared he might get hurt. He uses the fact he doesn't have any arms to avoid doing challenging things. He's a bit of a germophone and doesn't like being touched. He tries his best to be the moral support and stand by while everyone else does the work. His voice is mid with a New Zealand accent

He's a snobbish guy who insists on doing everything a certain way that everything must be perfect especially to win a challenge. a major perfectionist who often criticizes others especially those on the meeker scale to do better, saying how we just wants them to improve to be the best version of them how he does this is never really effective though. My his voice is on the lower side very proper and stuck up

Well I wouldn’t go as far as to say we're “friends” but everything is fine. I’m trying to make calculations on who would make the perfect team if we never want to lose. Though it’s proving to be quite difficult considering I know nothing about them or their capabilities… or incapabilities.

A strong mama who does anything to protect her children even when they aren't hers. she's confident and proud and tries her best with what she has. she tries to take care of others like any mom would to make sure they are well physically and emotionally. her voice is towards a lower range with a bit of a Boston / New York kind of accent.

A paranoid and nervous wreck. Is usually scared of something and is a little crazy in the head. Has a condition that can cause hallucinations and is always terrified something bad is going to happen. Despite this, he's a nice guy, he just needs someone to ground him to reality and tell him it's okay. His voice is a bit on the higher side and a bit cracky as he's always nervous. It has a bit of a shift from high to low.

He thinks he's cooler than he actually is. Often talks in slang terms and gives major surfer vibes. Is also a bit of a hippie. He does in fact enjoy making art, and uses it as a form of relaxation. He's a chill and relaxed guy while also giving people motivation to keep going and find out who they truly are inside. Middle to lower range, sounds like what a cliche hippie would sound like, with a slow speech pattern.

He's your pretty average guy going day to day to make ends meet. He's typically friendly towards others, but still has the decency to notice when someone's being a bad person. All he's doing is trying his best and if he wins, he wins, if he doesn't, that's life. Mid to low range voice, again pretty average, and up for interpretation :-)

Nothing ever gets past her. She has an amazing memory, and can call back anything she has experienced in great detail, which Bookmark appreciates. She's very honest, and is never known for telling a lie, and with how good her memory is, no one ever doubts it. If a rumor came from her, odds are it was true, which is something she does quite often, even if not meaning to. She doesn't always think before she speaks, and blurts out random details that nobody needed to know. Her voice is quite high and squeaky, something very similar to clover from Inanimate Insanity invitational, never really raises her voice.

A very intelligent and bubbly person. She loves nothing more than to share her facts and learn about what others might know. Is known to make callbacks from history, knows complicated math calculations, and gives out boring lectures that can put people to sleep, but she just wants people to know more about the world and see the importance of it. Her voice is more on the low scale, common proper, but full of life and admiration. Like a nanny you might see in a movie.

Very flamboyant and tries his best to make everyone on his team feel confident. He wants to make sure no one feels left out, especially his best friend. He even sometimes supports the other team, if one of its members is feeling neglected. They have to be a real piece of work for him to hate them. His brush does work and can be used to apply makeup. His voice is somewhat deep and very sassy. What you would expect someone flamboyant and gay to sound like.

Self-conscious and finds it hard to believe in himself most of the time. Is mostly a follower and goes with whatever the party thinks is good, and will do whatever needs to be fulfilled. His best friend, Blush, tries to help him speak up more about his thoughts. His voice is pretty average, a medium blend of high and low, but nothing too extraordinary.

The host of the show who, much like other objects show hosts, can seem a bit cruel to the contestants. Though on occasion there is a bit of hesitance in some challenges, especially those in which contestants might get hurt. It seems he's careless, and doesn't really think about the well-being of others, only to make a show. Despite this, all of his challenges are made with the intent to not harm the contestants, and any harm or deaths that occur will be of their own doing. His voice is mid-range and almost sounds like he's trying to sound like a game show host but not quite.
