What is Murder Drones: Rot?

Murder Drones: Rot is a fan-made horror series set after the events of Episode 8 of Murder Drones, taking place roughly two months later. While the original series had plenty of horror and darker moments, Rot takes that side of the universe much further. The project is heavily inspired by analog/VHS horror, Mechanical Instinct, creature horror, and psychological horror, focusing on the idea of what happens when a Drone is no longer completely themselves.

The story begins when N suddenly goes missing.
At first, no one knew what happened to him. With N nowhere to be found, Khan becomes increasingly concerned and sends members of the WDF (Worker Defense Force) to search for him. What begins as a simple search mission quickly turns into something much more disturbing.

Meanwhile, Hank, along with his helper and V, begins investigating N's disappearance from another angle. The deeper they look, the more strange evidence they discover—signs that something is seriously wrong.

But what they don't know is that N has already changed.
Whatever happened to him has left N almost unrecognizable. The Solver has affected him in ways that go beyond anything the others expected. His behavior becomes increasingly animalistic and unpredictable, almost as if his normal personality and instincts have been buried underneath something much more primitive.
N isn't simply missing anymore.
Something is hunting.
And N isn't the only one.

Doll suffers a similar fate, becoming another victim of the Solver's influence. As the investigation continues, it becomes clear that whatever is happening to N and Doll isn't an isolated incident. There is a connection between their transformations, and the Solver may be responsible for something far worse than anyone realizes.
The people searching for N believe they're looking for a missing Drone.

They don't realize they're searching for something that doesn't behave like one anymore. As the story progresses, the characters are forced to confront the darker consequences of the Solver and discover what happens when a Drone's body, mind, and instincts begin to rot from the inside out.

Murder Drones: Rot is ultimately a story about disappearance, transformation, survival, and the fear of realizing that someone you know may still be alive—but may no longer be the person you remember.
