MURDER DRONES FAN-PREQUEL: Urban Quarters (PROD CREW)

We are in need of character sheet/profiles before we open up more voice acting roles! We need YOU to help us out!!

Would you like YOUR Original Character to be in our Murder Drones fan series? We are searching for side characters, extras, and even our 2 main characters!! They can be either, Worker Drones, Disassembly Drones, or Servants/Maids/Butlers. Make sure they fit the requirements below:

• Must NOT be an OC/used character in other projects. We do not want clashing characters in different projects.,

• Provide a small profile of the character, including an artwork, personality and general information. We will be asking you for more information privately about more extensive information if your OC has been selected.

• Be aware that even if we select your character, due to the nature and events of this project, they may lose some abilities (Example: Disassembly Drone with 'rare' version of the Solver, Workers/Disassembly Drones with unique features such as different tail designs, body designs, etc).

• NO CHARACTERS WILL HAVE THE SOLVER UNLESS THERE ARE CHANGES TO THE STORY!!

• Be aware that even if we select your character, they may be selected under these options, which we will DM you privately first: Background Character, Main Character, Side Character

• You are allowed to submit a maximum of 5 OC's

• If we find out that your characters are being used in other projects, we will kindly ask you to remove the submission.

Would YOU like to help us advertise our project? We are wanting a team to help us put together ideas, video concepts, etc! Unfortunately you won't have access to the accounts but your ideas may be posted if accepted by the owner!

• Being a 2D Commercial Animation will involve creating small animated skits for advertisement, Social Media, or Discord server purposes. This role will mainly include character animations.

• MUST use ToonBoom harmony

• Must be able to convert to the style

• MUST have prior experience 

• Being a 3D modeller will include creating our character models that will be used in the show, and to be sent off for our riggers and animators to use.

• MUST use Blender

• Must be able to convert to the style

• MUST have prior experience 

• Being a 3D Model Rigger includes taking the models our 3D modellers create, and adding the rigs to the models to be used for our animators. 

• MUST use Blender

• MUST have prior experience 

• Being a Character Animator includes creating the motion and movement of our character models. We are looking for industry standard animations, including understanding animation basics, skills and techniques. 

• MUST use Blender

• MUST have prior experience 

• MUST have experience working with character rigs

• Being an Environment Animator includes creating the motion and movement of the environments, this could be as simple as tree sway movements. This could also include creating simulations for water, snow, etc. 

• MUST use Blender

• MUST have experience working with animated simulations

• Being a concept artist includes developing and sketching ideas for designs, creating detailed illustrations and designs. You will also collaborate with our team to refine the concepts, as well as create mood boards and colour palettes. You will also be collaborating with our designers. 

• Must be able to convert to the style

• Being a 2D Storyboarder will include creating smooth storyboards to help guide our 3D animators. Auditioning for this role will include creating both animatic storyboards, and also converting them to PDF's.

• Being a 3D artist involves working with our character models and environments which will be provided, to create beautiful imagery, which will mean working with lighting, rendering, etc. 

• MUST use Blender

• Being a 3D Asset Designer means creating the items and props that will be made for the series using 3D modelling software. 

• MUST use Blender

• MUST have prior experience 

• Being a 2D Character Designer will involve creating illustrations of character design processes. You will be collaborating closely with our concept artists.

• MUST have prior experience 

• Must be able to convert to the 2D MD style

• Being a 2D Commercial Artist will include creating 2D illustrations for Social Media, our Discord server and/or advertisement purposes. This role will mainly include character illustrations.

• MUST have prior experience 

• Must be able to convert to the style

• Being an Emoji Artist will include creating well-illustrated emojis for our server that consist of our project cast of characters!

• MUST have prior experience 

• Being a 2D Character Sheet Artist will include creating the official 2D illustrated character reference sheets. This could also include creating a height chart of our characters, turnarounds, and bodysheets if necessary.  

• MUST have prior experience 

• Must be able to convert to the style

• Being a Re-Recording Mixer includes balancing and combining all audio elements—dialogue, music, and sound effects to create the final product that will be used.

• MUST have prior experience 

• Being a Musician will include creating a multitude of songs and soundtrack for the series of many different genres.

• Must be willing to work with different genres and instruments

• MUST have prior experience 

• MUST be digital work (Example: Creating music on FL Studio)

• Being a Foley Artist will include being able to produce / work with different sound effects that are to be used in the series. 

• PREFERABLY to have prior experience

• Being a Sound Editor will include being able to clean up raw audio sent in by our Voice Actors and Foley Artists, assembling and polishing all audios, adding sound effects, and editing all audios to fit the visuals of the series. (Example: Add robotic effect to Cyn VA’s raw audio)

• PREFERABLY to have prior experience

• MUST be digital work

• Being a Visualiser will include working with both our music and series audio to keep everything on beat and pattern. This could also include creating visualizer videos.

• MUST have prior experience 

• Being a Video Editor will include working on both our Social Media and series to create industry standard visuals. This could include basic video clip editing, or advertisement editing. 

• MUST have prior experience 

• MUST be digital work

• Must be willing to work with different styles

• Being an Assistant Editor will include managing the technical and logistical aspects of post-production or manuscript preparation. This could include basic video clip editing, or advertisement editing. This is also a potential production lead role, depending on the workflow and organisation of the Assistant Editor

• MUST have prior experience 

• MUST be digital work

• Must be willing to work with different styles

• Being a VFX (Visual Effects) worker includes creating effects that will be used in the series. This means there will be a lot of collaboration between our VFX, Editors, and animators. 

• MUST have prior experience 

• Must be willing to work with different styles

• If 2D work, must use an animation software without a watermark in the exported result. 

• If 3D work, MUST be able to use Blender

• Being a Screenwriter will include writing out the general story rather than writing out only scripts. This will also include the visuals, dialogue, etc, almost as if writing a book. All writers will work with the owner (director) to write and create the full story. 

• MUST have prior experience 

• MUST be digital work

• Must understand standard writing techniques

• Must be willing to learn new styles, techniques, etc. 

• Being a Scriptwriter includes writing the scripts that will be used for our Voice Actors, 2D Storyboarders and our animators to use as reference for creating the show. All writers will work with the owner (director) to write and create the full story. 

• MUST have prior experience 

• MUST be digital work

• Must understand standard scriptwriting techniques

• Must be willing to learn new styles, techniques, etc. 

• Being a Showrunning Assistant will include being able to work with our writers, checking the writing, making sure we are maintaining consistency with character writing, story writing, plot writing, etc. 

• PREFERABLY to have prior experience

• Being a Content Producer will include creating, designing, and planning our Social Media posts. This role could mean collaborating with our Commercial team, such as 2D Commercial Artists, 2D Commercial Animators, etc. 

• PREFERABLY to have prior experience

• MUST have professional mannerisms

• Friendly and inviting

• Preferably to have knowledge on general marketing.

• Being a Communications Director will include communicating with our audience on Social Media or Discord server through their engagement, which mainly will include responding to comments, or questions they have. But this also means to NEVER spoil anything that has NOT been made public yet, as this will lead to immediate consequences.
