The story follows Detective Seth Francis, a quiet but brilliant homicide detective who becomes the vigilante Mr. Prince. Guided by the moral code left by his grandmother Gracie Anderson, Seth confronts a violent new vigilante known as Mr. Knight, who leaves the Knight of Swords card at crime scenes. What Seth does not know is that Mr. Knight is actually his long-lost foster brother, Maximus Southern, now hiding under the alias Mark Sutherland.
Book 1 introduces the core cast of the CrownedVerse, explores themes of trauma, justice, and identity, and sets the foundation for the Righteous Royalty arc.
