Mr. Mic's Talkshow KICKSTARTER [Animator auditions]

Hello CCC!

I'm Mascal, and I've been working on an indie show called Mr. Mic's Talkshow since August!

The Idea started as a funny 'what if' In my head at midnight, the next day, I suddenly remembered I had free will and I started work on the characters. After about of week of sitting on the idea, I made the auditions for the Voice Actors for the two main characters, Michael and Dusk. Around this time is when I first thought, 'Holy shit, I could make this happen'.

That brings me to today, after nearly 6 weeks of procrastination, I'm releasing animator auditions!

To clear things up, the thing you will be animating is a Kickstarter trailer to gain funding for the project, my idea is to get public funding, then make the show based on how much is raised. The trailer isn't all too long, roughly 2-3 minutes. I will discuss payment per episode with you, but it still depends on the fundraiser how many episodes will be made, with a max of 6 main series episodes to start with, then maybe a few extras if the stretch goals are reached.

The universe takes place in an alternate timeline where humans and monsters of all sorts coexist, I won't get tooo in depth of how they got there though, the protagonist Michael, AKA Mr. Microphone, is a man with an old analog microphone for a head, he has the mentality of a person from the 1930's USA. Michael is attempting to run a dysfunctional podcast using new tech he has no Idea how to use, enter Dusk, the sleepy human with a drinking problems, Dusk is a tech whiz and is somehow more responsible than Michael. The series focuses on silly conflicts between Michael and the guests on the show, public reception, and trying to make enough money to not get hunted by the IRS. (Yes, the main antagonist of the show is debt collectors from the government) It's wacky, somewhat vulgar, and crazy entertaining!
