Ness is one of the main characters in Earthbound. In this animation, he's cowardly, awkward, weird, tough and a little psychopathic when he murders a dog, Jeff and Poo with his baseball bat.

Jeff is the intelligent, posh and smart kid of the group. He tries to be kind and helpful in this animation, only for him to get mocked and humiliated by both Ness and Poo.

Ness's father forwards money into his son's bank account. Despite his warning his son not to spend it all in one place, Ness spends it all in one place by having Jeff build a killer yo-yo.
