Project Overview
More than Friends is a story of Leif Anderson, a 21 year old young man who attends college for interior design. Leif’s introverted self learns how to love again once he meets a Californian boy, Axel McGrath. Conflicted by his true feelings, Leif struggles to understand the meaning of love. More than Friend’s explains how an introvert and extrovert can balance each other out in a serious, yet fun(ny) way.

Ferdinand is a laid back, carefree man. He’s Leif’s mentor and an inspiration to him, wanting to get to his skill level. He can be a bit of an airhead and forgetful as he takes day by day. He moved from France to study his interior design career further, though has a firm both in Paris and Philadelphia.
[small chuckle] On time per usual. You never cease to amaze me, Leif. Here. I have some assignments for you to start. Can you get them in by the end of today?”
[yawn] Mhm, you can take off today- wait what?! No hold on, I need you at the firm! [whimper] You know I’m not good at multitasking…”
Whoa, whoa, whoa! We have a show today at 3pm!? Where does that say on the calendar?! A-and you didn’t remind me?! [dramatic groan] We’re doomed!!
Morgan kind and gentle, 19 year old college student studying performing arts, then minoring in fashion and textiles with her best friend, Umi. She is a trans girl who loves working with fabrics and patterns. She recently transitioned in high school and is now a Freshman in FairBridge University. Morgan is a performer as she dreams of being on the big screen one day in hopes to inspire others!
[Sigh…, daydreaming] Have you ever just imagined what it would be like to see your face on a tv? Or in the movies? Or better yet- walk the red carpet?! I’ve dreamt that since I was little… hm… maybe one day.
Oh, [chuckle] I know Leif’s little secrets. He’s got these little cat plushies he- ooohhh… maybe I shouldn’t say. [Whisper] some secrets shouldn’t be told!
Russel is the interior design firm owner in Philadelphia and Leif’s mentor. He works alongside his husband, Ferdinand. Russel always is working hard to have quality work. He is an extreme germaphobe and will do anything and everything to make things look clean... though Ferdinand is always wrecking havoc.
“I’m a very busy man, I stay up late writing very important papers, researching, but…I do love watching the Bachelorette. I feel as if it keeps me on the edge.”
“Quiet is my personality, most of the time, I let other’s do the talking. I find it easier to let them talk as I listen."
