Project Overview

Hi Phoenixes! I'm SilverPhoenixLuv and I am the owner of Phoenix Wings Productions! We have a new project we are casting for, but before you go skipping down to the roles, please take the time to read the following:

What IS MoonBright Roomies: Reboot?

MoonBright Roomies: Reboot is a PG13, slice-of-life, MCTV series inspired by PinkDiamondDiva’s Minecraft Roomies, Aphmau’s MyStreet, and many more. As its title, it will fall under the MoonBright umbrella.

Disclosure: MoonBright Roomies: Reboot will contain some sensitive topics, aggressive and vulgar language, PTSD, etc. If you are not comfortable with any of this, please do me and my hiring team a favor and opt out of auditioning to prevent any issues further down the line.

Roomies: Reboot follows seven main characters – Silver Valencia, Zaria Young, Tyler West, Chace Karter, Sullivan Hayes, Constantina Valentine, and Celine Sutton – as they go on adventures, get into trouble, face down their pasts, and learn and grow together. Often, they get joined by many supporting characters – Luna Starling, James Dawson, Vixen Lennon, Grayson Whitlock, etc. – who tend to get caught up in their mischief.

What is the casting process?

The deadline the hiring team has set up is hard, meaning we will not be doing any casting before the project closes. It will be tentatively closing on May 24th so please expect a message on CastingCallClub or a friend request through Discord from me between May 24th through May 26th.

I would like to note some roles in this project are not listed in the casting call. These roles have already been closed offsite or do not exist during the time of the posting date. By submitting an audition, you may be messaged about another role, which is either unlisted or listed that the hiring team feels would better suit you. Of course, you do not have to agree to audition for the role.

The hiring team will go through three rounds with auditionees during the auditioning process - the Top 3, the Interview, and Additional Lines. After you audition, the Hiring Team will listen to it and either put you in the Top 3 contenders for the role or not. During the Interview stage, I will personally contact the Top 3 to set up a date and time to complete an interview where we'll ask you some general questions, get to know you, and answer any questions / concerns you have for us. After the Interview concludes, I will send you some additional lines for the character you have made it to the Top 3 for. After all three stages, we will cast our final top choice.

Are you the only one we have to put up with?

Haha...no. Much like Moonbright, I act as co-director and co-producer, however, the casting decisions are not left up to just me. The hiring team doubles as the Production Management team for the project, including myself, to make sure everyone has a fair and equal shot. If you receive any messages or comments responding from them, that is why.

What must I include with my audition?

In the audition, please remember to include the following either in the voice file or in the text following it:

~ What You'd Like to Be Addressed As [ie. Real Name, Nickname, Username, Screename, etc.]

~ Your Age [If not comfortable, please include in your audition so we can private message you]

~ Your Discord Username [ex. SilverPhoenixLuv]

~ Your Timezone [ex. EST, PST, etc.] Please refrain from using UTC or GMT time zones

What are the requirements to audition?

Yes! Let's go through them, shall we?

  1. You must be 16+ [There is a lot of yelling, swearing, LGBTQ+ content, etc. with my crew so we'd prefer working with a cast who is around this age range. Please private message me if you're at least 2 months to 16 and wish to audition.]

  2. You must follow Discord TOS and adhere to the PWP rules - all of which will be listed for you when entering the server; for the most part, they're basic rules that you'd see in most servers.

  3. You must adhere to the PWP VA guidelines - these will be listed for you in the server if you make it to the interview stage.

  4. There is no minimum take requirement for auditions, but please do not do more than 3. Both AAABBBCCC and ABCABCABC are accepted, the hiring team has no preference.

  5. You must include the above section with your audition.

  6. You must be willing to voice act in the next seasons and spinoffs/side stories.

  7. You must have decent audio quality [ex. Blue Yeti] with little to no background noise.

  8. You must own and be active on Discord - everything project-related will be communicated on the server, please do not make me or my assistant directors and production assistant hunt you down over DMs.

  • Timeline Moved Up

    Hi everyone!
    First off, on behalf of myself and my team, we are overjoyed to see how many people submitted auditions for this project. We are truly blessed to have so many talented individuals audition!

    Due to some glitches with my account, we have moved up the timeline for this project. The project tomorrow will be closed, and Production Management will be reviewing all of the submissions to pick our Top 3 candidates for each role. If you have moved on to the next round of the casting process, you will either receive a friend request from me over Discord or a comment on your audition asking for your Discord username to message you.

    Zaria is naturally the most innocent and naive of the Roomies because of how overbearing her parents are. She approaches life with a kind heart and sees it through a creative lens. Her imagination tends to sometimes run a bit rampant but she knows how to control it well enough for it to not get too out of hand. She tends to be the person her friends can vent to with her understanding and easy to talk to nature. Her indecisiveness allows her to not overstep boundaries and refrains her from telling them how to handle their situations, but isn’t always good. Whenever she has problems, she doesn’t always know how to go about handling them due to her non-confrontational persona. She has a bit of competitiveness when it comes to gaming but is one of the most patient and calm gamers ever.

Current Life:

    At the beginning of the series, Zaria still lives with her parents and moves to Moonbright Ave in Angelsville, CA in order to attend Angelsville University. She moves into a nice rental house with her roommates, Silver Valencia, Tyler West, and Luna Starling. Zaria is the youngest living in the house of the four roommates and of all the Roomies. Because of her parents' constant overparenting, she has the least amount of experience with the real world and relies on the others to watch out for her.

    Chace has a natural professionalism manner about him which shows in the way he presents himself to others. His friendly and easy-going nature makes it easy for him to get along with others and make new friends. The passion he has for his work can sometimes be misinterpreted for bragging but he always keeps himself humble about his achievements. His dreamer side sometimes doesn’t allow him to have realistic expectations when approaching life or some stressful situations. He has a perfectionist’s mindset going into anything which leads to disorganization and chaos. But his responsibility more than makes up for the mistakes he makes. He sometimes can be a workaholic when he gets a lot of things on his plate at once and forgets to take care of himself.

Current Life: 

    Chace has been living in Angelsville for a year or so now, filming the cooking show – Cook or Be Cooked! He only more recently moved onto Moonbright Ave and into the house with James Dawson as his roommate. He and James are the perfect roommates for each other and are pretty much each other's best friend. He constantly strives towards getting his “big break” in his career and bringing his friends along for the journey.

Physical Appearance: 

    Sullivan shares the title of the tallest Roomie – standing at 6’3”. Because of his height, he has a slender looking frame but is still pretty built with some defined muscles. He has dark mocha brown hair which makes his blood red eyes stand out even more against his sand skin tone.

    He has multiple piercings including a lobe and two upper lobes on his left ear and a lobe and forward helix on his right ear. His aesthetic is a mix of skater boy and e-boy and his clothing style is a mesh of comfy-wear and somewhat oversized clothing. His color palette is a blend of soft summer light and deep winter soft.

Current Life: 

    Sullivan has lived in Angelsville for a few years prior to meeting the other Roomies after getting out of jail. He’d had a falling out with his family and cut off all contact with them. He saw an ad for an additional roommate needed, put out by his soon-to-be roommate, Grayson Whitlock. After they met, he moved into the house on Moonbright Ave and the two became closer during their time living together.

    Celine has a very self-assured persona that adds to her charm which is incredibly infectious for others to be around. She is very stable with herself and keeps herself and mindset very centered. Though she’s an ambivert, her social battery wears down slower when she’s around people she’s close to. Her happy-go-lucky attitude and optimism isn’t always shared in every situation, but she’s determined to see the bright side of everything. She can be a bit scatterbrained every now and then, especially when she starts feeling stressed. Her sometimes impulsive nature can be problematic but other times, it gives her a playfully mischievous side. She can sometimes be melodramatic about situations, but tries to avoid making a larger deal about a problem than it needs to be.

Current Life: 

    Celine just moved onto Moonbright Ave from her hometown to start her new job at a restaurant, Saffron, as a chef. She moved in with her two roommates, Constantina Valentine and Vixen Lennon, and the three quickly became best friends. She’s working to save up to go to culinary school abroad.

    Vixen has been living on Moonbright Ave in Angelsville for a year prior with other roommates after she left her hometown to start fresh. Her previous roommates had to leave for personal reasons, leaving her alone in need of new roommates to pay the rent. She met her new roommates, Constantina Valentine and Celine Sutton, through an ad she put out and the three quickly bonded.
