Hey everyone! Recently, I watched the film “Kimi No Na Wa” and absolutely loved it. (Hands down my favorite film right now). It does go against what I usually do when it comes to fandubbing (Not dubbing something that will have an official release) but the following scene I want to dub was just so touching to me that I really wanted to dub it!
I only plan on doing this one scene as most of my focus will be towards my Anohana Fandub I’ve been working on these past couple of months! Scene Summary
Mitsuha (In Taki’s body) has just awoken and finds herself not knowing where she is. Meanwhile, Taki (In Mitsuha’s body) is approaching where he last remembers his body was in an attempt to reconnect with Mitsuha. Once he arrives, they can hear each other but cannot see each other. Once twilight occurs something magical happens.
Things to Note + Requirements
• Deadline isFebruary 21st, 2017. At 11:59PM EST. I will NOT cast before the deadline nor will I be extending it (Unless I have no auditions LOL) So no need to rush with the audition unless it’s the day of the deadline XD
• Please have a good quality mic! It needs to be clear with little to no noise!
• MUST have an email (This is how I will be communicating and delivering the script)
• Please have a nice and positive attitude! no negativity please!
• In the audition lines whenever it says “[Taki]” it means it’s Taki in Mitsuha’s body! So you should be able to differentiate the tone between the two! (I do not mean to make your voice deeper but to differentiate the personality a bit. Definitely, check the reference video to see what I mean XD) I’ll be judging a lot on that!
• I will be casting asap! Probably early on the 22nd! Whoever is casted has all of the 22nd and 23rd to send me a confirmation email or message confirming for the role. Failure to do so will result in a recast.
•I have also provided a link for a reference to Mitsuha’s voice and tone if you need it! I highly recommend you use it as it's subtitles are actually the ones of the audition lines below! (I made it that way!) And it would help with what I'm looking for tone wise and line wise. For example the *Looking at Taki in disbelief/Almost in tears noises* is marked as subtitles in the video to show you what I mean/wanna hear in your audition!XD
