Project Overview

Heck, I don't even know what to do.


I had a bit of technical difficulties with my other projects so I'm just gonna start this one.

Mint Na Bokura is a manga series by Wataru Yoshizumi. It's a casual manga about twins going on to middle school, Noel and Maria. It was published on the 1990s, so art style wise, it's pretty old.

This project is a comic dub, so we will voice act and say our lines by how the story progresses.

This project is meant to be very simplistic and casual, but microphone still has to be little to no background noises as it will be difficult to mix as the final product is made. We will post it on YouTube and publish it by chapters by the manga accordingly.

Due to issues in real life that I need to take care of, script may be rushed and possibly out of grammar, but, please, bear with it. I am trying my hardest.

Noel and Maria Miyamura are fraternal twins.  While Maria is a free spirited young lady, Noel happens to be the opposite. Noel is extremely close to his twin sister to the point of being clingy. Noel was the main reason as to why he decided to cross-dress his way into the school that Maria decided to transfer in(because she fell in love with a much older boy.


Noel and Maria must have a distinction of voices despite having one voice actor. Maria is female, so which meant that she will have a much higher voice than Noel. Voice must be very flexible. As the story progresses, Noel's voice also becomes lower(some point in the chapters, his voice suddenly drops... but then goes back to normal(but it's lower)).

Recommended if:

-Good high to low vocal range
-Female/Male distinction of voices
-Able to voice crack(for Noel part, it WILL happen xD)

[PS: Maria and Noel look a like, to see them apart from each other, Noel always has a wig being attached to his own hair with a wig, Maria will frequently change hairstyles.]

  • "I knew that you kissed each other but I didn't know you took a photo as a souvenir, Sasa." (as Maria, extremely annoyed at Sasa)

  • "Don't you dare fall in love with her! No way in hell I will let you do that!" (as Noel, threatening Sasa)

  • "Look at her smile! She really doesn't feel shy around Toru!"(as Noel, commentating about Miyu)

Ryuji Sasa

Ryuji Sasa is the bestfriend of Noel.  He was a boy who had a phobia of girls(due to childhood experiences), but was adored by girls from the distance(which to rumors he's not interested in girls, or being gay). He's said to be charming and cool by the students and the main team players in the school basketball team. When Sasa met Noel, he befriended him and soon fell in love with Noel. Everything fired back when he realizes Noel is a boy. To help cover up Noel's disguise, they both act like a couple at the school.


There's nothing much to be picky about Sasa's voice, but sounding cool, serious and charming at the same time.

  • "So... you are saying that you don't like me? Am I not enough to be your boyfriend?" (Sasa confessing his love to Noel)

  • "Damn... I thought you already seem like a guy before, but never thought you were actually one." (Sasa to Noel)

  • "Hell like I'll tell anyone about your secret! Give me back my first kiss damnit!" (Sasa to Noel, extremely embarrassed and angry with the situation).

Miyu Makimura is Noel's roommate(before Maria decided to switch with her to protect Noel). She becomes the love interest of Noel. She is also the cousin of Sasa. She is a girl shrouded with mystery and so much maturity, it's almost hard to read her. Around the school, there was a rumor going on she dated middle aged men.


Miyu should have a serious but very soft tone, making her mature and gentle sounding.

  • "Ah... I forgot that my roommate was coming..."

  • "You're a little weird, you sleep with your headband on?" (Miyu to Noel)

  • "I hate liars the most."
