What in the world is “Comfy Zone Films”?
"Comfy Zone Films" is a Minecraft machinima production team creating original short films, movies, and episodic shows.This team was founded in early April of this year, since then our skills have exponentially grown and we successfully uploaded our first short film, "Lame Little Date". We recognize it's not the best, and we take this as a challenge to continue doing our very hardest.
"Living can be anything you want, and I like the idea of always challenging yourself to be better than you were ten seconds ago."
We have begun producing 2 new projects immediately after we uploaded our very first one, and we’re beyond excited to get into the thick of it!
Our Newest Projects!
"Their Curse", a medieval and fantasy series following our nonbinary protagonist, Kit, as they have a fateful and horrific encounter with the God of Curses after He is rejected from the stars.
"Mx. Sweet and Mr. Shy", a modern and romance short film replaying the lives of our soon-to-be lovers, nonbinary Andi and pansexual Preston, "Mx. Sweet" and "Mr. Shy" respectfully.

Positions We Need Filled!
We are currently looking for the following positions to be filled:
Outfit Designers
You hot tamales will be responsible for outfitting our platoon of characters! Whether they’re the big main protagonists or the littlest of background avatars, modern or medieval, we’re looking to make everything as detailed and full of passion as possible.
For every avatar excluding backgrounds, you’ll be supplied with their extended Character Profiles - Profiles will include front and back photos of their Minecraft skin, the styles they personally prefer, their wardrobe budget (to give you an idea of how “nice” their attire appears), and a brief description of their personality and overall being so that you can get a feel of who they are as a person.
Reviewers
I must confess… I’m not the slipperiest crayon in the toolbox. I occasionally (very often) create something that’s stupid, and I of course don’t even realize until somebody points it out.
I’m looking for people to professionally judge what we make to determine if it’s of preferred quality - Scripts, skins, sets, recordings . . . everything. Make fun of it all and point us in the right direction, hahha.
Skin Artists
Handy-dandy and the backbone of our operations! I am currently our sole skin artist, and it gets HARD when I’m trying to juggle everything else - I am quite the desperate little guy, searching for some friendly faces I can share this 64x64 burden with.
We’ll be cooperating with the Outfit Designers to truly bring life into every character ever, ranging from protagonists to backgrounds, modern to medieval.
Funky Rules and Requirements!
My autism jumps with joy when I follow rules, and I sure hope you experience something similar.
You will need Discord!
Everyone’s getting violently tossed into our rat-infested team Discord server! Announcements, general discussions, and overall organization is the name of the game.
Respecting Others
Be respectful to everyone. Nobody is better than another person, and humans are designed to be different. I’m not going to tolerate bullying or anything of the sort.
You’re ONLY allowed to bully “Dr. Death”. He can take it, it’s okay.
Age Requirements
We’ll be accepting kiddies as young as 14, but you’ll be limited to Rated E projects. I’m not about to be responsible for your young downfall.
Those who are at least 16 will be able to partake in all projects.
Content Leaks
Yeah, uh - don’t leak unreleased content without permission. We really like keeping super-secret secrets ;)
Swear Usage
Swearing is allowed but don’t go overboard, and absolutely do not direct foul language at anyone.
“Jokes”
I’m talkin’ inappropriate jokes and jokes that are intentionally meant to make someone feel bad. Don’t. Don’t do that.

Outfits are a real nuisance for me at times, so I would absolutely love the help with creating outfits for every character, including background avatars!
You can very simply help out with apps like "Gacha Club", Pinterest, Google - or even just basic descriptions typed up! Whichever way strikes your fancy :) !
I understand this may seem insignificant, but it seriously helps me out to an insane degree.

I want to constantly be better than I was 10 seconds ago, but I can't always point out the screw-ups or bad works myself. I need more eyes to help me see :3.

Skin Artists will be assisting me with 64x64 Minecraft skin production! Whether this be creating from scratch with references, or dressing somebody that's already been made - there's crafting to be crafted!
I will primarily need help with dressing pre-made avatars and supplying background characters. Gotta get them juicy details! :)
