Minecraft Crime: Episode 1
Project Overview
(OVERVIEW)
A Minecraft series where me and a friend will be investigating a series of fake crime scenes and telling a story along with it. This series is heavily inspired by the famous Buzzfeed Unsolved series on YouTube so it will be formatted like that series.
The scripts will be sent once everyone's been casted and the episodes will be uploaded on YouTube. If you have any questions about the project you can always Private Message me.
IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE PROCEEDING:
This is an aspiring project so there will be no payment
VOICE ACTING AUDITIONS :
- Audition only if you're committed to making this project come to life.
- Be able to show a vary amount of emotions or at least the emotion / energy needed for the character you are applying for.
- I will send the scripts on Discord, so make sure you have discord. ( This is discussable though if you don't have discord )
- You don't need a fancy microphone but please at least make sure you have a decent microphone. ( + Make sure no background noises are heard in the recording)
- The series is in the works at the moment so the characters below are for just one episode and other characters will be needing a voice in the future so feel free to audition for the others section as well! The others section will also help me see how good you are at voicing more than one character and vary of emotions you can do so I'd recommend doing even if you already applied for a character but not needed. ( If you just applied for the others section and not any of the characters below I'll contact you along with those who got accepted and ask if you'd be willing to voice a possible future character and we'll be in touch if things change. )
- I would also like to say that since the episodes won't be long there won't be a lot of lines for each characters so it won't be too much work!
- Lastly, have fun! I want to create something truly phenomenal with some amazing people and it would be great to have people who are just as passionate about this project as I am. :D

A happy and friendly officer who helps / guides detective Anni & Safire in solving the case and the person they will go to when they think they have found the person behind a crime.
" Do you want to accuse someone of being the murder yet? "
" Press a button to accuse the marked person "
" If you get the accusation right, you have solved the case.. However, if you get the accusation wrong; the case is unsolved. "
A seemingly rough and stubborn boss but kind and hard working person at heart. The boss doesn't leave any case unsolved.
" A couple of weeks ago, a man named Lord Marshall Kingsley was murdered in his own home at Grimwood Manor. "
" We have conferred with other detectives and found that your story checks out, and that his closest friend betrayed him just for money! "
" Good job guys! "
Servant 1 & 2 helping Jonathan in the murder of Marshall Kingsley. They're sassy, greedy and have a lot of hatred for the Kingsley's especially their master Marshall Kingsley. They are accomplices to Marshall Kingsley's murder and did it for the money. ( More than two people can audition for either servant 1 or 2 + One person can audition for both but you would need to use a different tone for both servant 1 and 2. )
Servant 1: " To think, he was killed right before our eyes! "
Servant 2: " Yeah, and I- "
" Here to crack the case are ya? "
" I wish he would just die already "
A warm hearted woman and a cook for the Kingsley's. She always takes care of Mary Kingsley and to Mary Kingsley she's like a mother figure.
" I AM OBVIOUSLY NOT THE MURDERER, SO WHY ARE YOU INTERROGATING ME? "
" I care deeply for the Kingsley's and if it weren't for there gracious help my son would have died "
" Mrs. Kingsley are you alright? Do you want me to prepare you some tea? "
A soft spoken and kind hearted woman. Mary Kingsley / Marshall Kingsley's wife she's beautiful and can lighten up the room with just her smile and treats everyone with so much kindness. She is a selfless person and will always help someone before taking care of herself.
" *sniffle* Hello *sniffle* what do you want from me? *sob* "
" I- I can't believe he died *sob* Why?! WHY?!... *sniffle* why did it have to be him.. "
" *chuckle* I love the cook she always looks out for me.. and hasn't left my side since the death of.."
The man who was murdered Marshall Kingsley and the owner of the Grimwood Manor. Just like his wife he's a kind hearted man and he cares deeply for his wife and his best friend Jonathan Fernsby. Everyone in the manor is like family.
" At the time of executing this last will; I am married to Mary Kingsley "
" I hereby appoint my wife, Mary Kingsley to 68%, if my finances "
" You can always trust me and I promise I'll always protect you. "
A snobby noble man who grew up in wealth and would take advantage of his friends including Marshall Kingsley his best friend. After the passing of his parents and poor money management he went bankrupt and would always ask Marshall for money but would always use it for gambling.
" *scoff* the previous 3 detectives have already failed what makes them think 2 woman could figure out who killed my friend. "
" I had gone out for a walk around the courtyard at the time of his murder. "
" Please excuse me I have more important matters to attend to right now. "
The blacksmith has been working for the Kingsley's for a long time. He's a single father of a daughter and though presents himself with a tough attitude he is kind hearted at heart. He is also an accomplice in the murder of Marshall Kingsley but his reason for murder was his daughter and her future and was manipulated by Jonathan.
" You another of those inspectors? "
" I ain't got time for ya then.. unless you can do something for me in return "
" Here's a lantern I made with some of the ingredients you gave me, as a token of gratitude for giving me a meal. "
This is the others section / extra characters section. These roles include: servants, researchers, officers etc. They are minor roles but in the future people can be called back in the future to voice other characters.
Servant: " My master *sniffle* "
Researcher: " We now know the cause of death was poison injected into his bloodstream in his sleep. "
Officer: " Ma'am I am just trying to ask you to confirm my suspicions"
